Personality: David is quiet and well-behaved, or on some occasions being the only child at the daycare to not cause trouble for the babysitters. He's very attached to his older brother, and sometimes he gets upset when the other kids hold his attention.

Telepathy: David is capable of reading the minds of other people and animals, his ability depicted as small sparks around his head. However, he is sensitive to being in large crowds as he becomes overwhelmed and dizzy by too many thoughts, to the point of getting a nosebleed. David and Anya finds it difficult to understand complicated minds, such as Loid's. He must also be within a certain distance of his target to read minds.
Classical Language: David is mysteriously knowledgeable of classical language, despite having barely learned the subject at school, as Loid notices he could have scored well on his test if she did not make so many spelling mistakes.
Resourcefulness: He is shown on numerous occasions to have a decent level of street smarts, saving Loid from potential death using her resourcefulness and quick thinking skills. From time to time, David and Anya has been able to trick Loid, despite his extremely observant skills and cautious attitude. He is also capable enough to make a makeshift bomb, albeit with the knowledge of an aspiring assassin.

Above Average Intelligence: Though it may not seem like it at first, one must remember that as a 4 or 8 year-old child, David manages to pass all of her Eden tests, albeit barely. He also does well in classical language, considered advanced in today's society.
