Night Vision - Due to having the DNA of a Mute Lion he can see very well in dark places and at night.

Enhanced Smell & Hearing - His sense of smell and hearing was enhanced due to the DNA of the Mega Lion.

Enhanced Strength, Speed & Durability - Due to having the DNA of a Mega Lion, he has both the strength, speed and durability of one.

Shapeshifting - David can transform into a Mega Lion and any of her appendages into those of one including his nose, ears, hair and canine teeth. This includes adding certain body parts that he, as a human, does not have an equivalent for (example; his tail).

Lion Limbs - He can shapeshift both her arms into a set of lion arms for combat.

Puppet Pheromones Immunity - Due to being part Mega Lion, David is immune to Hugo's puppet pheromones, as they only affect primates.
