Takemi was at the sprinting team and was training with the others. Tadashi walked up to them. "Alright team. I have exiting news. Tomorrow is the semifinals for the school sprinting. And if we win, we get to the finals." He said and the others looked excited. Takemi was most excided. "This is gonna be a piece of cake. Our team is the fastest sprinters in school." She said and the others agreed.
After training Takemi headed home. She was happy with how her life were going. Part of the sprinting team, a popular popstar, a hero and many friends. "I'm really lucky." She smiled as she walked down some stairs. But just as she was stepping on the final step, her foot came in contact with some small rocks in pile.
The pressure of the foot made them move, and Takemi fell to the ground. "Ow." She said and stood up. That's when she noticed that her foot hurt alot. Her expression turned into a worried one. Atlast she managed to get home where her mom took a look. "It seems to be slightly sprained. It'll heal in a couple of days." Takemi got worried.
"Couple of days? But I have semifinals tomorrow. I can't let my team down." She argued and her mom sighed. "I know. But you'll make it worse if you try to run on it." A sigh escaped Takemi as she had help to get to her room. What was she gonna do now?
Meanwhile in the underground cave, Yokaiba was laying down with bandage on his leg. "Why do we need to take care of him again?" Succia asked. "Because it was your fault I got hurt." The red devil said. Apparently both Succia and Onik had been playing with marbles.
And when Yokaiba was walking up to them, he slipped on the marbles and sprained his ankle. Onik came with some food. "It's only for a couple of days. It'll be fine." He said and Succia sighed.
The next day arrived and Takemi was allowed to go outside if she had her crotches. She called the others and told them about the situation. They all meet up in the park. "I don't know what to do. I can compete and help my team." Takemi said and Aimi rubbed her back.
"It's okay. You can still cheer them on. I'm sure that if you do that, it'll boost their hope." Setsuko said and the others nodded in agreement. Takemi looked up and smiled. "Alright. Let's go." She said and they all made their way to the semifinals. Tadashi walked up to her and saw what happened. "Are you okay Takemi?" He asked.
"I am. I might not be able to compete today. But I'll still cheer you on!" Takemi said determined. The boy smiled and so did the others in the team. On the other team was a boy named Katsuki Kamashi. He glared at the other team. "One player of them down. It's gonna be easy." One of his teammates looked at him. "It's not the world if we don't win. Atleast we got this far." She said and Katsuki just scoffed.
He didn't like losing. So it was his goal to make sure his team wins. The first sprinters were about to start. One of them was Tadashi. Before he started he walked over his bag and pulled up a necklace with a gold heart. He kissed it before stepping at the line. "What was that Tadashi did?" Anya asked. "It was his lucky charm. It gives him motivation and hope before running." Takemi answered and the others smiled.
What they didn't know was that Katsuki was listening. "This is perfect." He smirked to himself. Soon Tadashi finished his own lap and got to the final. "Perfect sprint Tadashi." Takemi smiled and Tadashi blushed. "Thank you Takemi." The girl smiled at how good it went for her team.
But she got worried. It was a tie and Tadashi was gonna run for her. He was really tired but still smiled. "I'm just gonna go get some water." She said and walked off with her crutches. The other girls was about to follow her. When Tadashi looked confused. "My lucky necklace. It's gone." He said and looked in his bag. After hearing that the girls started to help looking.
Takemi was walking back when she suddenly saw a car driving off. Her eyes soon widend when she saw Tadashi's necklace hanging on the back taped on. "Tadashi's necklace." She said and tried to reach the car. "No." The car drove off. But Takemi wasn't gonna give up. "Alright. Let's go!" She said and held her ring up.
Takemi was infront of a blue sky with feathers around her. She had clothes of light on her. Her ring glew bright. "Let's go. Spread your wings!" She said and the ring spread out a pair of wings. The blue gem flew out and created an round emblem with angel wings on. It flew right in the middle. "Pretty cure. Angelic change!" Takemi said and touched the gem.
Strong winds flew around her and her outfit started to appear. Fingerless gloves appered then her dress and shoes. Wind gathered into a small circle that landed on her head. It sprouted a wing and soon her hair glew and changed. It turned light blue with two small braids. She got earrings and smiled big. The emblem flew onto her chest before she landed on a cloud.
"The strength from the heavens. Cure Feather!" She said and did her pose.
Suddenly she felt her foot hurt. "Okay. Not even magic can't fix that." She said and looked at the car. Wings appered on her back as she started to fly after the car. She flew the fastest she could, but the car started to get away. "No! I can't give up!" Feather said and summoned her weapon.
"Hurricane speed boost!" She shouted and felt how energy flowed inside of her. Her wings started to move faster as Feather flew as the wind. Soon enough she past the car and knocked on the driver's door. He quickly stopped the car. "Can I help you?" The driver asked and Feather grabbed the necklace. "Only needed this. Thank you." She said and flew off, leaving the driver confused.
The other girls looked for the necklace together with Tadashi, when Takemi arrived. "Here's your necklace Tadashi." She said and handed it to him. "Thank you Takemi!" He said and kissed it. Now it was him and Katsuki that was gonna run. If Tadashi won, then the team was in the final.
He handed Takemi the necklace. "Take care of it for me." Takemi nodded as he walked to the start line. Katsuki growled a little when he saw the necklace. His plan failed. Soon both sprinters started. Everyone cheered for their respective sprinter.
Hearing his team's cheers made Tadashi get a second vind. He past Katsuki who fell when he put on some speed. Tadashi got the chance and crossed the finish line. Everyone cheered big as Tadashi smiled big. "He did it!" Takemi shouted and jumped into the air. But before she hit the ground, Setsuko caught her in her arms.
"Don't want you to get more hurt." She said and Takemi blushed. Katsuki growled and stormed off as Tadashi's team gathered around and cheered. Tadashi's eyes meet Takemi who smiled big. Later he pulled her aside. "Takemi. Thank you for cheering. That's why I love you." He blushed and Takemi got shocked.
She smiled gently at him. "I appreciate that you're honest. But I don't feel the same." Tadashi's face saddened but he soon smiled. "It's okay. We're still friends." He said and Takemi nodded. They both smiled and walked to the others happy.
