"Its chain is silver, and its gem is sapphire, a blue color," Isabela mumbled as she was talking with Dolores on a bench outside the Casita.
"Is that all the details of (Y/N)'s missing necklace?" Dolores asked, and she nodded.
"Have you already found it or even heard someone mention this kind of necklace?" Isabela commented, and Dolores' lips pursed as her hands clasped together.
"I think we don't need to find that necklace anymore," Dolores tilted her head as she wondered at the sky, "someone could bring it back soon," she muttered.
"I was thinking you're certain of this person that they will take the necklace back," Isabela remarked, and Mirabel joined in with their conversation just after she did her chores.
"¡Hola! I just finished the chores, and I finished finding the necklace, but I haven't found it," Mirabel greeted her, then Isabela furrowed her eyebrows as she was looking at the ground, thinking about the statements she had heard these past few weeks.
"Hey, Dolores. I'm sure you know the person or somewhere where the necklace is." Mirabel turned her attention to her. "It'd be easier for us to already have it and take it back."
Dolores sighed. "I promise to keep my mouth closed about it," she answered. "All of you should understand what this could mean," she added, and the sisters looked at each other, perplexed.
"You're giving us a clue about this necklace? I hope so!" Mirabel exclaimed. "Let me think. Does the necklace is in the hands of someone?" she inquired.
"Hm, yes. He's a guy," Dolores squeaked, and the sisters piqued their interest with her statement. Mirabel wondered again to guess who it was.
"Necklace... means for a guy, he cares for her," Mirabel mumbled, and this made Isabela turn her attention to her as if she were thinking of someone, "If the guy has feelings! And if not, especially if it's a jewel, he is a stealer and wants to keep this treasure," she continued.
"But there's no such crime or theft in this town," Isabela blurted. "The possible thing could mean that the guy has a liking for (Y/N) and is planning to do something about it." The sisters both looked at Dolores for confirmation, and she gave a short nod. This made them both intrigued by the guy.
"If that's so, why would he go and think of that?" Mirabel asked. "I mean, he could just give her the necklace without making her feel bad," she added. While they were talking, Camilo was walking near the Casita while smirking, and he heard the conversation of the girls in the family. It thrilled him, and he shape-shifted into his tía Julieta as he continued to stroll in their back and on his way to the door.
"I don't think you understand the thing about making an impression on a girl, Mirabel." Dolores chuckled.
"He isn't just straight to the point."
"But that's how it works for him!"
He couldn't remove the smirk from his face while still in disguise, yet he tried to keep himself composed and acted as his tía. Dolores' eyes shifted to a disguised Camilo with her lips loose. "Stop being a sneaky chameleon, Camilo, as if you did something bad," Dolores called him out while the two sisters followed where she was looking.
"Huh? Camilo, you're in the form of mom?" Mirabel interrupted, and Camilo stayed in that position, and he made a soft smile on his face as he faced them while still holding the small blue box behind him.
"What do you mean, hija? I haven't seen Camilo come here," Camilo acted as he kept his smile and imitated the voice of Julieta. Isabela quirked her lips as she sized up Camilo.
"We are your family. Don't try to play with us," Isabela pointed it out, and Camilo couldn't hold his laughter as he shape-shifted into his original form.
"Okay, okay. You got me. As always." Camilo laughed. "You girlies, keep your conversation going while I take a rest," he added as he was about to walk, but Isabela called him.
"Did you already find the necklace I told you about?" she asked, and Camilo turned his eyes to her.
"Unfortunately, not yet," he answered as he pointed his fingers at them and snapped, "but count on me; I'll never give up on finding that necklace." He playfully winked as he continued to walk through the door of the Casita, and Isabela nodded in understanding as they watched him enter the house.
"That's suspicious." Mirabel shrugged her shoulders.
"He's always had whimsy. Don't think about it a lot," Dolores squeaked as she grinned.
"After all, right." Mirabel nodded, content with the answer.
"Are you getting what I said earlier? You know how easy it is to find out if you keep your eyes on the surroundings attentively, especially the guys who will be around us," Dolores hummed.
"Can't we just know already who that could be? We can keep it a secret as well," Isabela blurted.
"He doesn't allow me to tell anyone, even family members," Dolores defended.
"Dolores, I think it's someone you're close with, huh?" Mirabel grinned as she crossed her arms. "I know now; it's Mariano-" Isabela's flowers were thrown at her with her usual solemn expression, and she was cut off.
"Someone she is close with. It is. And there could be only one person who will be." Isabela smirked as she turned around, and at the right time, Antonio came. Mirabel cocked her eyebrow while Dolores waited for her response out of curiosity.
"Uh, you mean our best boy, Antonio, could keep that necklace?" Mirabel inquired, and Isabela's expression dropped.
"No, I hadn't seen Toñito come at the time I looked at my back," Isabela argued, "I thought some insects had flown over my back," she added, and Mirabel grimaced.
"We're in the middle of a discussion here," Mirabel scoffed, and Dolores chuckled.
"Do you have any thoughts on where the necklace could be?" Dolores interrupted.
Isabela took a deep breath and focused her gaze. "If that necklace hasn't yet been found, I'll not hesitate to tell abuela that there is a thief in this town," she sternly remarked. "We shouldn't allow these kinds of deeds in our town, am I right?" Mirabel narrowed her eyes as she nodded, agreeing with her, and Dolores' lips were tightly pursed with a shock in her eyes. She was thrilled with it, and obviously, she knew who would be at risk.
Camilo peeked from the door with his eyes widening. Oh, he better think of a plan as soon as possible.
