                                             Everything's normal

I hum as I work on Chica, fixing some kind of malfunction she had. I was just playing around with some wires and trying to figure out what the issue was.

"Fuck yea, finally," I mutter as I finally seem to get some wires fixed and get the animatronic working.

I close up the animatronics captivity thing in its back and cleaned up my tools I had lying around. I sit up fully and go to the table that was in parts and service room, organizing some stuff around. I look over at Chica really quick, seeing that her right arm was lifted up.

"Huh, that's weird," I mumble, walking over to her and putting her arm back down.

I let out a breath and gather the rest of my stuff, going to the door and opening it, I walk out into the hallway and start walking to the other hallway, that had my office.

When remodeling Freddy's, we installed this weird security place thing for night shifts. Henry told me that for some reason, sometimes he would come in before opening and see the place was messy. He suspected that it some teens or something playing around and hired some nightguards to watch the place at night. There were metal doors as well because henry said that was in Williams original plans and that really what we're building it based off of. I dunno, it was a whole thing.

But it was strange. We had hired two at the start and one of them went missing. Now, the other one quit, talking about something going on with the animatronics. Thankfully, we hired another one who seems to be taking the job well so far. Hopefully for a while.

"(Y/N)!" I hear someone call me.

I look back and see Kevin, a mechanic me and Henry hired about a year ago. He was a chill guy, one year older than me. Dirty blonde hair, green eyes, pale skin. Some girls would swoon for him. Some actually did.

"Hey, Kev. What's up?" I ask, turning my attention to him.

He smiles at me. "Henry wants you in his office. I don't know what for, but he said its important." He shrugs and I nod.

"Alright, I was on my way to my office anyway. Thanks for telling me." I smile at him before he stops me again.

"Wait!" I turn around, looking at him. "Would you, uh, maybe want to hang out sometime? At the movies or something?" he asks, scratching his head.

I raise a brow, shrugging. "Sure, I'm down."

He smiles, getting out a small paper and pen, writing something down and then giving it to me. "Here, this is my house number. Call me when you want to plan it."

I smile and nod. "Alright. See ya later." I wave to him as I start to walk to Henry's office.

I knock on the door of Henry's office door, hearing a low 'come in' before opening the door. I open the door and see henry buried in paperwork. Jeez, I need to get that man away from work and on a cruise or something.

Henry looks up at me and smiles, his glasses sliding off his nose. "(Y/N), I'm taking it Kevin told you I wanted to speak with you?" he asks, getting up from his seat and taking off his glasses for a quick second.

I nod, standing across from him. "Yea, what you need?" I ask.

He sighs, looking up at me. "Are you free to work September 6th? I know that's your day off but, that's Evan's birthday party and I would like another person to help watch over Freddy's," he explains, fidgeting with his fingers on his desk.

I nod, not minding it all. "Yea, I don't mind. I wasn't planning on doing anything that day anyway." I let out a dry chuckle.

I mean, I was right though. I didn't know many people and was busy with Max and work. Plus, I loved the Afton kids, and they seemed to enjoy my company as well. Even Clara seemed to as well sometimes, which I found weird.

Henry clears his throat, writing something down. "Excellent." He pauses, sitting back in his chair. "Another thing: would you mind taking a few night shifts maybe next week or at least in the next few? I trust that you won't quit, I hope at least." He chuckles, causing me to let a little laugh slip.

I shrug. "Sure, I can look into my schedule and see what I can cover. I'll get back to you on it," I agree.

He smiles widely, sitting up in his chair to write another thing down. "Perfect. Thank you, (Y/N). This means a lot to me."

I nod, walking over to him and giving him a hug. Of course, dad. It's the least I can do." I smile as Henry hugs me back best he could.

We pull away from the hug and he looks at his watch. "Ah, better get going. Your shift is basically up. Plus, I need to get home before Max makes any bad decisions." He laughs as i start to walk over to his door.

"He hanging out with Jane and friends again?" I ask, knowing that's what he usually did on his days off.

Henry nods, getting up and cleaning some stuff up. "Yup, you know him."

"Unfortunately, I do," I mutter, jokingly.

Henry seemed to hear me, rolling his eyes playfully. "You know you love him," he comments, packing up his work bag.

I hum. "Do I?"

Henry chuckles. "You two are crazy," he sighs, swinging his bag over his shoulder.

We share a laugh, and I go to my office, getting some stuff from there before joining Henry and walking out to the parking lot with him. Ry had closing tonight so we said bye to her before we left. Me and Henry talk a bit more before getting to our cars.

"Thank you again, (Y/N). You truly have been a huge help to me." Henry smiles as we pull away from a hug.

I nod, smiling as well. "Anytime, dad."

We say bye to each other and go our separate ways.

How hard could any of this stuff be?

I arrive home, getting my stuff out and going inside. I unlock my door, immediately barging into my house and closing the door, locking it. I put my stuff down and go to my room, changing into comfy clothes and preparing myself for a late night. Since I didn't have work tomorrow, due to the fact that it was Saturday, and I didn't work those days, I usually stayed up late on the couch. Sometimes I would go out, but it really depended on my mood.

Since Freddy's was closed Sunday, me and Henry split when we would be off. So, we decided that I would be off Saturday, we would both have Sunday off, and then he would have Monday off. It was just a thing we did, I guess.

I flop down on the couch, turning it on and scrolling around, picking up a liquor bottle from a previous night. I sigh, landing on a random game show with a creepy host. Nonetheless, I watch it, spending my night how I usually do.

Everything's normal. This has been the normal. And everything will continue to stay normal.

William's POV

There they are. Spending their nights like how they usually do. It was almost their routine. Wake up, get ready for work, leave for work, work, come home, change, and then watch television while drinking. It almost made me feel bad for them. They seemed miserable. My poor dear.

But I was going to change that. I had been watching them for a month now, after returning from somewhere in Nevada. Then, I came back, finding out the case was basically left behind. I may or may not have celebrated a bit because of it. Oh, well.

I sigh, sitting up from my hiding position from their window that peered into their living room. I start walking back to the hideout shed I had, knowing I didn't need to risk someone seeing me this late.

"Don't worry, dear." My fingers graze over a picture of them from a few years ago.

"I'm back"
