"Itachi? Itachi! Itachi!" I called out to my brother, running to him as he practiced. As soon as his kunai hit the target, he turned to face me.
"Yes Sasuke?" He asked.
"What time is (M/N) coming over today?" I asked desperately, keen to see my brother's close friend again. Itachi smiled and started walking towards the target to retrieve his kunai.
"Soon." He said simply and I pouted.
"How soon is soon?" I asked.
"Soon, okay? How about you head inside and wait for him." He chuckled.
"Okay!" I turned on my heel and walked to my room where I sat by the window which overlooked the street in front of our house. I was looking out for (M/N), already excited for his arrival.
I was seven year old Sasuke Uchiha, and was three academic years younger than my brother. My brother's best friend was four academic years older than me, but I still had the biggest silly crush on the boy and adored his presence. My crush on him started when he saved me from falling off a tall tree, catching me in his arms. He lost his balance and we both fell, me landing on top of him. "Sasuke! Are you okay?" (M/N) asked desperately, helping me up. I was slightly tearful due to the fright but I nodded, hugging him tightly when I realized he saved my life. That was a few months ago, and I was now crushing on him so hard I was planning on making him a Valentines Day card.
When I saw his familiar messy hair come into view I immediately jumped up and ran down the stairs, swinging the door open. "(M/N)!" I exclaimed happily, always excited to see him despite attending the same school and seeing him regularly there.
"Hey Sasuke! You alright?" He asked happily as he approached. I smiled brightly and nodded, happy he could come over again today, like every day. Him arriving was always my favorite part of the day.
"C'mon, let's go train!" I grabbed his hand and dragged him inside and out to our training area.
"Hey (M/N). Ready to train?" Itachi said and I pouted.
"Sure am!" He said with enthusiasm.
"But I wanted to train with him, big brother!" I said.
"Sorry Sasuke, but we need to train for our upcoming exams. Now go inside please." He said simply with an apologetic smile.
"Can't he sit and watch?" (M/N) suggested.
"I'm afraid not. I don't want him to get hurt. Now go inside Sasuke" Itachi said in a more stern voice. I turned sharply on my heels, storming from the training area and heading up to my room, slamming the door shut behind me. With Valentine's Day being only a week away, I decided to start working on (M/N)'s card to keep me busy.

"Itachi?" When's (M/N) getting here?" I asked my brother who was, like always, training outside.
"He's not." Itachi said simply and my face fell.
"What? But I made him a Valentine's Day card!" I exclaimed, showing him the handmade card.
"Oh, well how about we go deliver it instead?" He said.
"Great idea! Let's go now big brother!" I said and ran off, Itachi following close behind me towards (M/N)'s house. I excitedly skipped ahead. I was confident he'd treasure my card, and I was confident that in the future he would be my husband. "(M/N)!" I exclaimed happily when he opened the front door.
"Sasuke? Itachi?"
"Happy Valentine's Day!" I exclaimed, handing him his card.
"Aww Sasuke, this is so sweet of you." he smiled kindly. I felt all bubbly inside at the fact he had accepted it, and I couldn't help but smile brightly. What made me even happier however was that merely a month later, on White Day, (M/N) handed me a handmade card in return. I hugged him tightly when he handed it to me, making Itachi chuckle behind us.
