Have you ever loved someone? That is a question you get asked a lot. Family? Maybe some friends? People actually love hearing the answer to this question for some reason. They subconsciously want to get to know the like and dislikes of the person they asked said question. Love is an emotion every human being has. It's the feeling of a strong affection towards another human being, whether it's familial, friendly, or even sexual. Perhaps even an inanimate object given by a loved one. Or a hobby. Or your career. Or anything, really.
If you want my answer, sure. Who didn't love? I had a loving family, and I loved them quite a lot. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to show them my love for long. Shocking, right? But they were my everything. And I loved them dearly, still do. But let me rephrase the question; Have you ever fallen in love?
Well, this question makes me pause. It's really difficult to answer this when you're young. You haven't lived your life to the fullest yet. You haven't seen the world. And you definitely haven't met the right person whom you can call yours. Being in a relationship is a process of trial and error. Sure, you have a crush. You tell the person you have a crush on that you like them. If they reject you, you simply move on. If they like you back, you would take the next step into this relationship.
Going out on dates, spending time together, texting, checking up on them, getting to know them better. Then, if everything goes well, you confess that you're in love with this person, and you begin to discover new aspects in your relationship. If not, you move on, again. Until you find the right person. If you did, great. Eventually, one of you would get down on one knee and ask to marry the other person. Then, you get married and you have your happily ever after.
Now, I'm not saying that marriage is all peaches and rainbows. You could have your problems, your differences and different views on things. Sometimes, it could lead to divorce. It's unfortunate, but it happens all the time. And the cycle of trial and error continues. You could find the right person in an unfortunate circumstance. In the wrong time and the wrong place. But you still manage to get over all that and end up falling in love.
So, you want me to answer the question? Yes, I fell in love. Shocking, right? The great and all mighty sole survivor of the Uchiha clan, in love. But here I am. I mean, you wouldn't believe me when I tell you that the person I fell in love with is... a boy. Yes, I know, 'How will you revive your clan?' There's something called surrogacy people.
Anyways, his name's (M/N) (L/N). He's [age] years old. He has beautiful golden eyes and he looks as if he was sculpted by the very Gods. He's Just... the most attractive person I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. You may ask, how did someone who keeps to themselves as you fall in love with someone as outgoing as him? What's there not to love? I simply love everything about him. His smile when he's listening to his friends talking, the way he laughs when I say something funny (even though I didn't mean to), how protective he is of his fiends and stands up to bullies, how he pouts when he messes up, and how he becomes upset if somebody dear to him. I love all of him, and I wanted him all to myself. His smile, his laugh... everything. So I made sure to tell him.
"I like you." (M/N) stared at me in shock. He looked at me as if I grew another head or something. I was prepared to be rejected. Trial and error, remember? He might not even be attracted to guys. Hell, I wasn't until I met him. As the time stretched in silence, both of us staring at each other, my shoulders slumped ever so slightly. Well, I wasn't really expecting anything in return. I shouldn't have had my hopes up but, oh well. I guess it's time to move on. Until he blushed beet red from cheeks to the tips of his ears, that is.
He covered his mouth with his hand and lowered his head. Like he couldn't believe somebody would actually confess their feelings to him. It gave me a little bit of joy to know that I'm the first to do that. Then he raised his head and looked into my eyes.
