Konoha had just finished their final match for that day and won by a pretty good margin. They were satisfied with their win and excited to move on to the second day, although most of them were tired and looking forward to just heading home.
"Oi, Sasuke." Naruto called his best friend, who was packing his things up by the side of the gym. Sasuke looked up in acknowledgement.
"I'm going to go meet my fans for a while, okay?" Naruto said, pointing outside. There was a large group of squealing teens awaiting the small forward's arrival, all prepared with presents in their hands. It was a common thing during their matches– after the first day, his terrifying large group of fans would wait outside the gym to tell him that he did an amazing job, take pictures with him and give them all sorts of gifts. Of course, they were first mainly interested in the Uchiha, but when they got to see his personality in action, they quickly chose the Uzumaki's bright and bubbly personality over his cold and menacing one.
Sasuke replied. "Fine. Just don't be late, idiot."
"Stop calling me that, teme!" Naruto scolded, before setting off to get his free stuff from the amazingly large group of fans outside. Sasuke had just finished packing his stuff up and stood up to leave, when an unfamiliar yet soothing voice stopped him.
"Um, excuse me, Sasuke-san." You called rather shyly. He turned to see you before him looking nervous, a hand scratching the back of your neck in a nervous manner. He had seen you before in school and thought you were pretty handsome and thought of approaching you when you were alone. He would've thought that such a handsome, tall and intimidating guy would sound more confident when he spoke. But when he saw a small bouquet of roses in your hand, he grunted internally.
Sasuke sighed. Must be another one of his fans. He pointed towards the exit and said. "Naruto's outside the gym with the rest."
You narrowed your brows at his sentence, rather confused, until you realized what he meant. He must have thought you were one of Naruto's fans. He was about to take another step before you stopped him. "W-wait."
You mustered up the courage to hand him the small bouquet. "T-they're for you." You said, blushing a little. Sasuke looked confused, wide eyed at the situation. You explained. "I thought you were brilliant during the game and um, yea. So, here."
This time, it was Sasuke who blushed. He took the small bouquet from your hand and stifled out an awkward. "T-thank you."
You smiled a little at the sight. Sasuke was your upperclassmen at Konoha, who had always looked like he had everything under control. He was cold, strong, mysterious and powerful– and seeing his soft side before you, somehow made your crush on him even more.
"No worries. I, um, I'll see you at school." You said before walking away, glad you were brave enough to do what you've wanted to do ever since you laid your eyes on him.
And Sasuke was left frozen for just a moment.

The teacher dismissed your class, signifying the end of yet another boring and painfully slow school day. As you picked up your bags and walked out the door, ready to leave, you heard your name being called by a familiar voice.
"(M/N)-chan~!" Naruto called you from the hallway. He was standing beside what looked like a nervous Sasuke, who was hiding something behind his back. He was blushing too, and you could see a little sweat trickling down the side of his face.
"Sasuke has something to say to you!" Naruto said, pushing his best friend towards your direction.
"Um, (M/N)-san." Sasuke nervously began, biting his lip and pausing for a long while. You looked down at him confused, unsure what he wanted, but you were getting nervous too.
Suddenly, he revealed the thing in his hand that he had been holding behind his back– a single red rose, a beautiful one too. He handed it to you, his arm looking stiff as he did so. You felt the slow red tint appearing on your face.
"I know it isn't much, b-but this is for you." He said, a little panicky. You thought the sight of him was adorable. Slowly, you took the flower from him, eyes glistening as you stared into his soul. You calmly replied. "Thank you."
A soft smile crept on Sasuke's lips. Just then, Naruto appeared behind you and pushed your shoulder gently. You turned to face him and he gave you a knowing look. You took a deep breath. As you scratched the back of your neck, you asked him. "Um, so, would you like to go out with me sometime?"
You watched as a grin made its way to Sasuke's face, feeling enthusiastic by the question. He didn't have to think much. It was simple. Just a simple: "Yes."
