Fourth read a message on his smart watch.
"I put your lunch in your room, remember to eat it, love Gem." Fourth smirk, he found it funny.
"Babe.” Nate jump in front of Fourth makes him startled.
“You scared me Nate!.” Fourth scold his friend, he rubbed his heart. After he calm down, his fingers pinch Nate arm.
“Cutie.” He found Fourth reaction too cute, he rubbed Fourth rosy cheek with his hand.
“Oiii....stop.” Fourth push his hand , avoiding the touch.
“Such a baby.” Nate said when he saw Fourth frowning.
“What do you want?”
“I want you."
Fourth rolled his eyes with Nate answer. He hugged his body with both of his hand.
“I want to invite you to have dinner with me tonight.” Nate inform Fourth his intention straight away. He is afraid Fourth get annoyed and left him there if he procrastinate.
“Nope.” Fourth decline the invitation without hesitation.
“Why babe? Since you return you seems avoiding me.” Nate whine, he rarely see him outside work except in hospital.
“I’m not avoiding you Nate, you know I am a home body.” His introvert side sometimes makes him want to be alone.
“Then I bring dinner there, we can watch movie together after. Is that okay?” Nate suggest, not giving up spending alone time with Fourth.
Nate understand Fourth, if he is not working, his dear friend will stay home or went out meeting his close friend.
“We can just have lunch here, why should we meet at night.” Fourth making an excuse, he's so hungry right now because he skip his breakfast this morning.
“Fourth! I just want to spent time with you like when we’re in London.” Nate frustrated with Fourth answer.
Fourth doesn’t know how to refuse anymore, he end up nodded his head earning a wide smile from Nate.
“I see you at eight o’clock tonight, later babe.” Nate pout his lips faking a kiss to him. Fourth just smile with his action.
After Fourth get medical qualification and completed his postgraduate clinical experience in Thailand, he applying a job abroad.
He got accepted because of his excellent result. Fourth took the chance moving there without second thought. He want to heal his broken heart, staying here makes him remember his past.
There, he get acquinted with Nate, a Thai mix races whose a local in London. He helps him a lot since he knew Fourth is Thai and have nobody there.
Fourth lives alone maked him concerned about him, Fourth thankful because Nate always care of him.
Nate return to Thailand first because he want to stay close with his entire family, his parentsb decides to settle down here for good.
It’s a destiny they meet again at the same hospital. Fourth furthering his studies becoming a specialist, when his professor have contract work in Thailand for a year, he asked Fourth follow him.
It’s not like Fourth didn't realize that all this time Nate openly courting and flirting with him yet he's not ready for a relationship.
Furthermore he don’t have any feeling for Nate except liking him as a friend, he already told Nate about it. It's better staying as a friend rather than giving him a false hope.
Later as arranged earlier, Nate come bringing meals for them. After having dinner both sitting on the couch watching a movie.
Fourth just go with what Nate want to watch. Both silent before Nate open his mouth calling him.
"Yes."
“Can I asked you something?” Nate asked without looking at Fourth. His eyes still glued the television in front of them.
“Who is the guy that come deliver the food to you?” Nate saw the same guy went inside Fourth room at least five times now. Even Fourth is not there, he casually come in and leave the food for him.
“Who?” Fourth furrowed his forehead, not sure whom Nate refer to.
“That guy last time you introduce us. What his name...Gem, Gem I think.” Nate recall back their meeting.
“Oh, Gemini.” Fourth answer calmly this time.
“Yeah right. Who is he?” Day by day Nate want to asked but he have no chance to speak with Fourth. They're busy with their own schedule.
“He's a friend of mine.” Fourth simply answer. Nate doesn’t have to know his past.
“Friend? Did he cook for you?" Nate felt something is not right.
"No, his mother know me so he just deliver what his mother cook."
"He seems interested in you. Every time I saw him, his eyes goggling seeing you.” Nate turn his head, Fourth also turn toward him, exchange gaze for a bit.
“Nah, we’re just friend.”
“You sure? I thought he have crush on you since he send you a bouquet regularly."
“How you know?”
“News spread fast my dear, most of them saying you are being court by someone name Gem. They saw his name on the card.”
Fourth laugh out loud with the news, he really not expecting himself become a topic at the hospital.
"Ridiculous, we're just friends, nothing more than that." Fourth have no intention telling Nate his past relationship with Gemini.
"Really?"
"Yeah."
"Then I still stand a chance right?" Nate take his right hand and hold it. Fourth did not avoid his touch.
"Nate we already talk about this right?" He answer softly, his eyes return his gaze.
"But I like you. Babe you knew it all this time that I like you" Nate confessing.
"Should we stop here? Or continue being awkward to each other?" Fourth asked Nate, it's sound like a thread still if he want to stay friend, better stop it now.
Fourth have a habit giving silent treatment if he is not comfortable with a person. Nate understand what behind Fourth words, hurriedly say sorry. Fourth nodded accept it.
Nate let go of his hold on Fourth hand, focus back on the movie. Fourth do the same, both pretending their conversation never exist.
