Chapter 16

After settling in Nayeon decided to explore some of Paris with Kai accompanying her leaving V and Jennie alone at home. "Jen be ready in ten I wanna take you somewhere",he said popping his around the door. Jennie smiled and started to get ready as did V who was excited to spend time with his girlfriend. Jennie came downstairs looking lovely. "You look gorgeous as always",V said offering his arm to her. She glady accepted and they were off. They drove to a restaurant and sat down to have dinner. They joked, laughed and learnt more about each other. As the time went by Jennie found herself falling more in love with V than she was before. V couldn't deny that he was falling deeper into her eyes as well.

As they were talking they heard a sudden voice from behind, "V is it really you?". V turned to the voice that was speaking and saw his worst fears come to life. Before him stood the man who ruined his childhood and put him through hell and back. V's father stood before him in disbelief. "FATHER",he said making Jennie's stomach drop. V got up immediately and left the restaurant with Jennie running after him. When Jennie caught up to him he was already in the car with her door open so she could get in. She didn't want to upset him  so she got in without a word, as she shut the door V hit the gas with the car going at lightning speed. "V slow down!",Jennie said frantically. "Say something to calm me down before I cause an accident please!!",he said sounding helpless. Jennie realized how much this was affecting him and could only think of one thing to say: I LOVE YOU

V hit the brakes and looked at Jennie's innocent eyes, "I love you, I don't want anything to tear us apart". "I promise",she said taking his hand. He kissed her hand and took a deep breath. "Let's go back to the apartment",she suggested. He nodded his head and started the car.

By the time they arrived home Nayeon had still not arrived so it was still just the two of them. "Sorry I ruined our date",V said clearly hurting. Jennie hopped up onto the counter top and pulled his shirt drawing him closer. They put their heads together and let the silence take over. V smiled as he realized how blessed he was to have her in his life. His eyes soon wandered down to her lips, Jennie noticed and took full control as she planted a big one on him. As usual the kiss turned intense, but this time round it was Jennie's hands traveling to the buttons of V's shirt. "Jen we're in the kitchen",he said teasing her. She sighed and buttoned his shirt up again. As they were about to carry on with their smooch fest Nayeon opened the door with Kai carrying loads and loads of bags.

V sighed regretfully. "So close yet so far",he said looking at Jennie. "Sorry if we interrupted something",she said annoyed. "No worries we were just chatting",Jennie said. "Yeah in fact we're going to go chat some more in my room",V said taking hold of Jennie's wrist as he dragged her upstairs...
