The next day V and Jennie were in rehearsal for their performance when Scott came in, "I'm here in Paris baby!",he shouted. "Scott you're here",V said said. "Yes and I heard you can sing",Scott said. V looked at him confused and so did Jennie . "Since when can you sing?",she asked. "I went through his portfolio and it said he has the voice of an angel!" "Really why didn't you tell me?",she asked looking at V. "I didn't wanna brag plus you would've made me sing to you with my guitar.

"You play guitar?",She asked. He nodded his head. "Right so I want you two to do a duet together with V singing, what do ya say",Scott suggested. "If Jennie will have me I'd be happy too",V said hopeful. "No offense, but first I need to hear a sample for myself",she said with a sassy look. V shrugged his shoulders and decided to give her what she was asking for.

Jennie and Scott were in awe of his unique tone yet beautiful voice. It was addictive and Jennie couldn't help, but blush as V looked at her the whole time. After V's little audition came to an end Scott applauded V while Jennie leapt onto him. "I've never been so attracted to you",she told him. "Then I should sing more often",he joked. "So Jennie are you in or what girl?",Scott asked. "I'm in!",she said excitedly.

V and Jennie continued their dance rehearsal, but not without V trying to steal a kiss here and there. As they sat down for their break Jennie decided to bring up their recent issue. "I think you should talk to your dad",she said. "Jen please don't get involved",V said tiredly. "I have to it concerns you",she said . Jennie hadn't realized that she evoked a anger in V as he got up from the floor, "I said no just leave it alone!" "Sorry I...sorry",she said holding back tears as she left the room. V tried to stop her, but she brushed him off. V stood with his back to the wall and sunk to the floor.

Jennie decided to go against V's wished and contacted his father to meet her. She had not informed V who was still in rehearsal, instead she left a message with Nayeon. Nayeon walked into the rehearsal room, "Jennie headed home she said she was feeling well". V nodded his head and couldn't help, but feel guilty about their argument. After rehearsal he decided to buy Jennie blue roses to cheer her up and apologize.

V  and Nayeon came to the door of the apartment and heard Jennie's scream, they both quickly ran into the apartment to see what was going on. "Jennie where are!?",V asked frantically. "V help me!",she screamed with the fear escaping her lips. V and Nayeon followed the sound of her voice and heard the sound of glass breaking. They bursted into the living room with Jennie on the floor clutching her head that had a gash of blood coming from it. Kai sat by Jennie's side with her in his arms. On the other side was V's father with a crazy look in his eyes. "You're lucky I didn't kill her like you killed your mother!",he yelled at V.

"Call 911 Nayeon, Kai stay with Jennie and I'll take care of him",V said clenching his teeth. As he looked at his father in disgust he walked towards him slowly while Nayeon and Kai were doing what they had been told to. V started hitting his father with knocks left and right, he gave him a punch to the face and slammed him into the wall causing him to collapse to the floor. V then rushed to Jennie's side and took her from Kai. Kai couldn't help, but still be envious of the two of them even in Jennie's desperate time of need. Nayeon was no different as she looked at V with the hate burning up for Jennie.

"I'm so sorry",he said with tears in his eyes as he held Jennie in his arms. "It's ok...I love you",she said as she passed out. V looked at Nayeon who still had the phone in her hand, "Haven't you called them yet!",he yelled. Nayeon gasped in fear, "I...".

V ignored her and picked Jennie up, "Kai help me get her to the car". Kai walked with V to the car as they both left Nayeon alone.

The trio left to the hospital as Nayeon stood there letting the tears flow down her cheeks as she screamed her emotions out:

Why! Why does she get everything I want! I wanted to be an idol, but she did it and I became her manager! She calls me her best friend, but she takes everything I want. The life, the job the dream and now the...the...man.

Nayeon sunk to the floor and sobbed as there was no one to hear or comfort her.
