My Protector

Chapter 23

They arrived at a abandoned house with a lake not too far. They noticed Nayeon coming out of the with Jennie tied up along with tape over her mouth. Everyone stood in fear as they watched Nayeon take out a gun and hold it to Jennie's head. "Nayeon stop!",Lisa yelled. Nayeon looked all of them standing across from her with a crazy look in her eyes than she hadn't never shown before.

"Why should I , she took everything from me!",Nayeon shouted gripping the back of Jennie's head making her wince in pain. "What has our sister taken from you?", Jisoo asked. "What...what has she taken, she took being headgirl away from me first, then the it girl she stole as well then finally she crossed the line and took the love of my life: Taehyung from me!",Nayeon yelled getting more vicious by the minute.

What she hadn't seen is that Jungkook had snuck around the back to save Jennie.  V noticed and decided to distract her, "Nayeon let her go...it'll just be you and me if you let her go". Jennie's eyes widened as she heard his words as Jungkook tackled Nayeon from behind. The others ran towards Jennie to make sure she was alright, however Nayeon managed to shrug Jungkook off her. Everyone was stunned to see how Nayeon managed to struggle out his grasp and grabbed her gun.

She aimed it towards Jennie and pulled the trigger....

V dropped to the ground and clutched his chest which had been shot with the bullet as he took the hit for Jennie. Jennie caught him as he hit the ground cradled him in her arms as the tears started to flow. "Open your eyes,please...I remember everything it came to me when my phone broke up...I remember when we met and I made you carry my bags as well as us going for dinner, rehearsal, the Golden Disk Awards...just please come back to me",she sobbed.

V eyes remained shut as the voice of his lover echoed through out his brain...
