Jennie Kim has been receiving death threats and requires a new bodyguard to travel with her between tours, countries and pretty much everywhere. But what happens when she is assigned a handsome new bodyguard her own age.
After the meeting with Babymonster V and Jennie left in the car on their way to lunch. On the way Jennie noticed V smiling at her, "What?",she asked confused yet frustrated. "I'm your friend now?",V said proudly. "Whatever",she said looking to her side in order to avoid eye contact. V noticed and continued smiling to himself as they drove off for lunch.
Jennie and V sat down for lunch at a restaurant. Many people wondered who V was and why he was sitting with one of the top stars in the country. During their meal they couldn't really interact as Jennie kept being interrupted by fans which caused them to leave immediately after finishing. As they started driving again Jennie remained in the front seat next to V which put him in a good mood, but he couldn't figure out why? "Stop here right now!",Jennie said suddenly making V hit the brakes. "It's not on the schedule is it?",he asked puzzled. "No, but I come here when I can",Jennie said looking to the other side of the road. V turned to look and saw a small house with beautiful flowers on the window sill.
"This is where I spent most of my time as a trainee",she said smiling. "What's so special about this place?",he asked. "The people inside",she said lovingly. "Should we go see and if their home then?",he suggested already knowing the answer. They both got out of the car and headed towards the house with the beautiful flowers. Jennie rung the doorbell and a little boy who was about 7 years old opened it. When he saw Jennie he jumped straight into her arms causing her to smile the brightest V had ever seen her smile before. "Jendukie I missed you!",the boy said in an adorable voice not letting her go. "I missed you too",Jennie said gasping for air. "Oh Jennie come in",a elderly woman said from inside. V and Jennie entered with the boy still clutching onto poor Jennie. "Hi Bebe",Jennie said. "Oh, Yeonjun let her breath",Bebe said removing the little infant from her. "It's okay...how are you doing?",Jennie said. "Good my dear and obviously you're doing good",the woman said eyeing V. "Oh yes this is V my new bodyguard", Jennie said. "Ahh new bodyguard",Bebe said. "Nice to meet you mam",V said bowing to her. Bebe smiled at him, "Are you just her bodyguard?" "We're friends",Jennie said knowing that V was proud of it.
"Just friends?",Bebe asked. Jennie and V shyly nodded their heads. "Jendukie I've got a new dream", Yeonjun said. "Really what is it?",Jennie asked putting him on her lap. V smiled at the two as he admired how Jennie was fully invested in the small boy. "I'm going to be a superstar like you!", Yeonjun said excitedly. "Really?",Jennie asked. "Yes, but I'm going to be in a group and we're going to blow up like TXT!",he said with a confident voice. Everyone smiled at his confident words as his face lit up. "Then I will pay for grandma's medical bills",he said. Jennie looked at Bebe whose smile had faded. Jennie signaled V to take Yeonjun out of the room before confronting Bebe, "Why didn't you tell me if you were struggling I would've gladly payed it",she said. "I can't burden you anymore than I do",she said.
"It's not a burden",Jennie said sincerely. Jennie looked out at V and Yeonjun playing in the garden, "That little boy needs you, just like I did when I was a trainee... everytime you go to the hospital he needs you to come back to tuck him at night and make him tea in the mornings, to tell him you love him and that you always will". "Jennie I know that, but I don't want to burden you",Bebe said with tears in her eyes. Jennie brought her into tight embrace, "It's not a burden you both are my family",she said. Bebe whipped her tears, "Thank you darling, you are truly God sent".
Just then V returned with Yeonjun in his arms. This caused Jennie to give a gummy smile and realize how good V was with kids. After their visit they went on with their schedule and at the end of the day V dropped Jennie home.
