Chapter 4| The Arrival

Draco and Una spent the next few months preparing for the arrival of their babies. They contacted a fairy, who knew much about babies. She would help Una give birth. Una started pushing and Draco saw an egg come out.
“I knew it!” he exclaimed.

“Why does it hurt so much?” Una whimpered. Rainbow, the fairy, replied, “Come now, dearie. It will be worth the pain. Tell you what, I'll cast an anti-pain spell on you.”
“NOOOOOO! NO SPELLS!!!!” Una screamed, “That's how this started!”
“Dearie, you can trust me. I'm a good fairy.” Rainbow put her hand on Una’s stomach. “No pain from here on out, no reason to scream and shout.” She took her hand off of Una.
“Is that better, dearie?” she asked.
“I dunno.” Una whimpered. Another egg came out and Una felt nothing.

“When is the other one coming out?” she asked.
“It's already out, babe!” Draco exclaimed, “What now?”
“According to my research, to hatch them, you must use your fire.” Rainbow said to Draco,
“Now, if you'll excuse me, my wife, Glitter, is waiting for me.” Draco nervously looked at the eggs.
“I hope yer right.” Draco said to Rainbow as she flew away.

Draco opened his mouth and Una screamed, “Wait! Lemme go outside. I don't wanna get burned.” Una tried to get up but her legs wobbled.
“Rest, my love. I'll curl up around them so you won't get burned.”  Draco told her, licking her. He curled up around the eggs and breathed his fire breath on them. 10 minutes later and a tiny horn poked out of one egg. A dragon head with a unicorn horn on its’ nose and head poked out next.

A long neck stretched out and a dragon claw scratched the jagged edges. The egg broke into several pieces as a long tail with a tuft on it thwipped out.
“Is that Gelbanth?” Draco asked.
“Yes. And the other is Joyful Starry Smile.” Una replied.
The second egg hatched and a baby unicorn with dragon wings came out of the second egg.
“Let's call them Dragocorns, darling.” Draco told her.
“Ok, love.” Una replied,
“Gosh, they're so beautiful!” Una started crying.
“What's wrong, honey?” Draco asked.

“Nothing. I'm happy crying.” Una stated.
“I'm so confused!” Draco exclaimed. Una nuzzled Draco and said,
“Draco, Draco, Draco. Girls can have more than one emotion. Don't you have more than one emotion?”
“Yeah. I'm excited and worried and confused.” Draco stated. “What are you confused and worried about?” Una asked. “I'm confused because you still haven't told me how you knew how many babies we would have.” Draco said. “I saw it in a dream. In flashes. Joyful won't be joyful for some reason. Now what are you worried about?” Una asked.

“I'm worried that another wizard will come and take our babies and do horrible things to them!” Draco exclaimed. Una nuzzled Draco again and told him, “Don't worry, you’ll roast them like firewood!” “I hope yer right.” Draco said, licking her again.
