The Proposal

"Do you think she's going to like the ring?" Ethan asked nervously.

Denise only smiled and ruffled his hair.

"Dude your nerves are really fucking with you. Trust me your sensual chocolate is going to love her ring. Hell of you bought me that ring I would marry your ass too!" She jokingly said trying to unease the nervousness.

Ethan had to do a double take, he couldn't believe what his best friend had said.

"You're telling me you would drop all of your hoes and go to the straight side?"

Denise thought about it for a minute or two.

"On second thought, I would probably just take the ring and use to swoon more hoes my way!"

All they could do was just laugh.

Ethan's phone was ringing and it was Bennie.

"Wassup, Bennie is everything good?"

"Your girlfriend is driving me crazy, I'm about to snap her neck. This hefa has been harassing me all day. I've been trying to keep her entertained without getting her drunk. I hate to say this, but I wish Bertha ass was here." He said exhaustingly.

"Well I have good news for you, you can come back to the house now. I have everything in order."

"Thank you Sweet Baby Jesus!" Bennie excitingly screamed.

An hour later...

Ethan was beyond nervous, he couldn't believe that he was about to propose to the love of his life.

When the door bell rung, his heart began to beat really fast. He quickly opened the door and greeted Savannah with a passionate kiss.

"Damn bae what's gotten into you?" She said while sitting her shopping bags down.

Ethan ignored her question and took her to lead her to the backyard.

There were rose petals all around, candles shaped into a big heart, and Sade playing in the background.

Bennie, Bertha, Denise, and Kai were hiding.

"Aww baby it's so beautiful. What's the occasion?"

Ethan just smiled and got on one knee.

"OMG what are you doing?" Savannah said with a screech.

"I knew the moment I saw you in my restaurant, that you were the one. You're very caring, intelligent, sexy, gorgeous and all around wonderful. You don't ever judge me or expect me to act a certain way. You always care for others and is willing to make others happy.

I'm not a poet but I decided to write a poem for you."

At this moment Savannah began to happily cry. The stragglers came out from hiding and started to record the scene.

"Well I know a man who's brave and bold and strong as strong can be. He's handsome, with a head of gold, but sadly, he's not me.

I know a man who's smart and wise and clever as can be. He's quick and witty, with dancing eyes- but sadly, he's not me.
