Revenge

The whole gang decided to go to New Orleans for Essence Festival: Savannah, Ethan, Kai, Bertha, Bennie, Jason, Nathan, and Emily.

Essence always falls on the weekend of the 4th of July, they decided to come a few days before the fun starts.

The plan is to distract everyone else while Bennie and Savannah handle business with Nino and his "girlfriend", Lisa. First order of business was to meet Taz at Cajuns Seafood.

Taz was known for being extremely late yet charging his clients outrageous prices for his services.

They decided to order their food while waiting for him to arrive. As soon as the number was called, Taz walked in with an attitude.

"Do ya'll know my ass almost got shot on my way here?" He asked with his hand on his hip.

Bennie couldn't take him seriously and just bust out laughing.

"Nigga you think this is a joke? I can go back to my crib and sleep. I don't have to help you ungrateful bastards. Ya'll just like Jerome, Big Bird looking ass." he said and sat down at the table.

"Speaking of Jerome, how is he?" Savannah asked curiously. She hadn't talked to her baby cousin since the incident with his girlfriend, Alison.

"Even though I'm very serious about client confidentiality, I will say that they're doing good." he said nonchalantly.

"Let's cut to the chase why am I here? The only thing Bennie told me was Nino was out of prison and threatening your family. What exactly do you need from me?" Taz asked seriously.

Bennie and Savannah looked at each other and then back at him.

"Well we would like him to be... exterminated, he's like an annoying insect that won't go away." Bennie said.

Taz nodded his head and took a swig of his beer. He was trying to think of some of his contacts that could possibly help.

"I mean there is Michael... no but he's about to get locked up. Then there's Matthew... but him and his wife are in some deep shit." Taz said.

"Ya'll don't know anybody that's good with situations like this. I know ya'll got some cousins that are straight up thugs."

"Why the hell you think we asked you?" Savannah harshly said.

Most of their relatives that are "about that life" are either locked up, deceased, or crazy as hell.

"Look I'll find somebody that can do the job. Do ya'll need a hit man or just someone to capture him?"

"Capture"

"Well there is this one guy that I know who is willing to do one more "gig" after being released from prison. Unfortunately, his release is scheduled for August, unless ya'll ask Toni to work her magic."

"You know Toni isn't trying to be caught up in no illegal fiascos, but I'm sure she can do this tiny favor for her cousins." Savannah said confidently.

"So Savannah I heard that you're getting married, congrats and I hope ya'll have a wonderful marriage. Plus I heard that Anita and Charles paid ya'll a visit."

"Thank you and yes their trifling asses did show up unannounced to our place of business." she said while rolling her eyes.

"Don't stress so much about them, just know that they're definitely going to get theirs in the future." Taz mumbled the last part.

After catching up with each other and eating delicious food, Savannah decided to go pay someone a visit. She dropped off Bennie at the hotel and took a drive to the 9th Ward.
