Chapter Four

"Magnus, the warlocks under your care are safe in my lair. Valentine is back. We know that for sure. I must warn the other warlocks. Stay still my dear, I shall be summoning them." I told him

I summoned my magic and summoned the high warlocks around New York.

"Why is it you have summoned us, Stella?" Luca, high warlock of Manhattan.

"The Circle has attacked Magnus lair. Thankfully, we were there to handle it, but warlocks were lost. Valentine is on the move. He is looking for the Mortal Cup. Keep your warlocks safe from the Circle. If they wish to leave, let them. Call me if anything should happen." I said

"Yes High Warlock." They said before dispersing the spell

"It's amazing how they just listen to you." Luke told me.

"It's pure respect." Alexander said

"I have known these people for years and have even helped some become who they are. They know all I wish is for them to be safe." I told them.

"Magnus, shall we call our mate?" I asked

"Mate? So, it is him. Yes, my star, we shall." He told me before grabbing his phone and calling him

He put it on speaker so we could hear.

"Ah, we called Alexander." Magnus said

"Hello? Who is this?" Alexander asked

"Alexander. Hi. It's Magnus and Stella. We met the other day. You know, with the demon." Magnus said

"Uh, yeah...Yeah, hey, what's up?" Alexander replied

"You're so nervous." Isabelle told her brother

"We were just thinking it was really nice getting to know you. You seem... sympathetic." I said

"Would you like to go out for a drink some time?" Magnus asked afterwards.

"That sounds fun, um...When?" Alexander asked us

"How about right now?" I asked

"Um... You know now's not a really good time for me. Another time? Gotta go." He told us before hanging up

"Playing hard to get. I love a challenge." Magnus said

"So, do I. So do I." I added

I looked at Magnus and we both glanced at Alexander. He noticed our staring because he sinked into his chair.

We both went and sat down on the couch.

"Magnus, I fear Valentine will get his hands on you. And now that we found Alexander, I fear what will happen. He's not as strong as us." I said

"He will be fine, my love. He is a Shadowhunter. Part you. Trust in him." He told me

"What do you mean? Part you?" Jace asked, but we stayed silent.

"I know. Now, I have to go to my lair. I will be back before sundown." I said

"Be safe." he said kissing me

I opened a portal, stepping inside to my lair.

I arrive home after checking on the warlocks and relax.

"Welcome back, Stella. Shall we take a shower?" He asked

I looked at him smiling before we went to shower. We had some fun and soon went to bed.

"Good thing, they didn't show that." I said
