Chapter Forty-One

"Stella, I'm going to go for a walk." Magnus told me.

I knew he needed time for himself.

"Alright. I'm going to be at Raphael's. Helping him settle down in mundane terms." I told him.

He gave me a kiss, before leaving. I opened a portal to Raphael's, stepping into his new house.

"Hi, mamma." He greeted me, with a kiss on the cheek.

"Hi, mijo." I told him.

"What's wrong?" He asked me.

"Alexander broke up with us." I told him, breaking down for the second time that day.

"Oh, mamma." Raphael whispered as I leaned into his hug.

"My boy, always comforting me." I told him.

"Always, mama." he told me.

At the same time

We see Magnus walking around New York. But there's something different. He has his magic.

"How?" I asked.

"I don't know." Magnus said.

I walked through the street, finding the block with the locks. I found ours. I couldn't help but remember.

"We made a lock together." I whispered, hurt to know, we lose this love.

"Where are we going?" I asked.

"I told you it's a surprise." Alexander told me.

"Magnus, quiet." Stella told me.

"I don't like surprises." I told him as we came to a halt.

"What do you mean? You're the king of them. You know, you start waving your hands around, and I never know what's gonna show up in front me." Alexander told me.

"That is true, Magnus, my love. I remember when you made a zebra appear in front of me, for no apparent reason." She told me.

"That was a weird day." I spoke.

I couldn't help but laugh at that memory.

"Ok. So... there's something... I wanted to do." Alexander said facing us. I saw a lock.

"Oh, you want to lock me up? I thought you'd never ask." I said.

"OMG, you didn't." I said, glad to have a laugh.

I watched as Stella laughed and made that beautiful smile I love.

"You can always lock me up." She told us.

"No...no. Remember that bridge y'all brought me to in Paris last week, the one where people put those locks?" Alexander asked us.

"To show their eternal love." Stella told him.

"Right. Well, they have a place like that here in New York too. Look, I don't know. I... I know it's silly. I wanted us to have a lock too." He told us.

I couldn't help but smile. He held the lock up and I blew my magic on it.

"What does it say?" Alexander asked.

"Aku Cinta Kamu." I told him "It's Indonesian for I love you." I continued.

I watched as Stella blew her magic, making the words 'per eternita' appear.

i couldn't help but smile. It was soon wiped off when I remember what happens.

"For eternity." She told us.
