Chapter Seven

As I went home, I got a call.

"Kitty cat, when will you be home?" I asked

"Umm... It's actually Alec." I heard

"Why is Alexander picking up your phone?" I asked, but no one answered.

I smiles. "Alexander. If you wanted my number, you could of just asked." I said

"Oh, um, okay. But that is not why I'm calling. There has been an attack at the institute." He said

I didn't bother listening to the rest. I opened a portal landing right inside the institute.

"Alexander. Magnus are you okay?" I asked as I saw them

"Yes, my dear. I am just setting the wards up again. Alexander was the one hurt, though." He said

I immediately turn all my attention towards Alec.

"Let me see the wound." I said

"It's okay. Magnus has already asked me. I don't need help." He said trying to walk away.

"He shouldn't have said that." Magnus said

"Why not?" Alexander asked

"See for yourself." He told him, pointing to the screen.

"I'm sorry, but I'm not Magnus. When I tell you something, I expect you to listen. Now stand still." I told him strictly

"You are not in charge of me." He said pushing me out of the way

I growled shining my eyes in red. "Who the hell does he think he is talking to?" I asked Magnus

"He is still young, Stella. He may be more mature compared to others his age, but remember he is going through a lot right now." he said kissing my neck

"Mm. Your right, but if he speaks to me like that again, I don't know what I'll do to him." I said

Suddenly I saw someone I knew.

"Meliorn!" I screamed running to him as he caught me

"You know Meliorn?" Isabelle asked me

"Yes, he is a dear friend of mine." I told her

"Stella!" He said twirling me around "How are you dear friend?" He asked

"Good. Trying to keep out of trouble. But my friend, what are you doing here?" I asked

"I was about to ask the same thing." Isabelle said beside me

"The Clave called me in for some kind of conference." he told us

"I'm so happy to see you." Isabelle said hugging him

"Spare me. Your fire message clearly stated you never wanted to see me again." He said

I walked away not wanting to hear this conversation.

"Magnus, shall we leave now?" I asked him

"Sure my love." He said

When we were about to leave, we were stopped by Isabelle.

"Let me get this straight. You need Alec's stele to open the safe, and you want us to steal it from him?" Magnus asked them

"You will do no such thing." Alexander told us

"We prefer the word 'borrow'." Jace said "Without his knowledge." Isabelle said

"No. No can do. Not happening." I said as we started walking away

"Magnus, Stella, ever since Alec found out our parents were in the Circle, he's been messed up. he can't see the big picture." Jace told us
