Chapter Five

"It's starting with me." Magnus said as it showed him and Alexander in our home.

"I must leave." I told Alec

"What? Why? You can't go anywhere in this state." He told me

"You do look tired, my love." I told him

"I must. My love is injured. Now I must leave." I said

"Then take me with you. I have plenty of energy for you to use." He told me

"Fine but stay close." I said opening a portal

We stepped inside and saw bodies littered everywhere.

We walked further inside, and I saw my love leaning on a pillar.

"She did this herself." Alexander asked in shocked.

"Stella, is strong. It's why we elected her as high warlock of New York." I told him before leaning down towards Stella

"Hi, my star. How are you doing?" I asked looking at her

"Exhausted. I forgot how tiring fighting can get. I have a few wounds nothing that can't be healed. Can we go home, now?" I asked looking at him

"Yes, we can. Alexander, can you carry her please?" I asked him

"Alexander, how nice to see you darling." She told him as he picked her up.

"I will never understand, how you can always flirt under bad situations." Magnus whispered to me.

"It's easy, when I love the person." I told him, kissing him.

"Sleep, Stella. We will take care of you, now." Alec told her as she slept in his arms.

"It's the bond, right?" Magnus asked me

"Yes. It's starting to thread together." I told him

"Let's go, Magnus." He told me holding a handout

I grabbed it and portaled us home.

"Put her in the bed." I said as I began healing her wounds

"Thank you, Alexander. You may leave now." I told him

He looked like he was thinking about it till he ultimately decided to leave. When he left, I set up my wards before getting in bed with my love, taking a well-deserved sleep.

I woke before looking at my surroundings. I'm home. I try remembering what happened. Magnus and Alexander got me. I saw Magnus next to me asleep, but no Alexander. I guess he didn't stay. I gently get out of bed before showering. I noticed I was completely healed. My warlock, I love him so much.

After getting ready for the day, I woke Magnus up.

"Morning, Stella. How are you doing?" He asked

"Amazing. I need to tell Luca about yesterday. Valentine is getting braver as the days go by. He already attacked two high warlock lairs. He will go after more." I told him

"Before you go, tell me what happened." He said

"I got to Luca's lair and thankfully the wards were still up. I opened a portal for all the warlocks. They went to my lair. Luca tried to stay but I said he would only be getting in my way. After he left, the wards went down, and I was surrounded by two dozen circle members. They thought I would be easy to take down. I only used my warlock side, but that is my strongest part of me. I killed them one by one. But I was more tired from the fight then I thought. And well you know the rest." I explained to him
