They had to go down to the garage another 3 times before everything was finally on the terrace and they could begin with the actual planting.

"Shall we start with Reggie?" Tristan suggested, placing the last bag of soil next to Sir Reginald's designated pot.

"Yes!" Warren clapped his hands enthusiastically in his typical fashion.

"Alright, we will put some horse manure at the bottom, so he will have something to snack on when he grows." Tristan grabbed one of the small shovels they had bought, heading towards one of the raised beds with Reggie's pot to fill it up.

"What?" Warren asked confused, coming up next to him. "What is that?" he asked suspiciously while Tristan began filling the pot.

"It's horse manure. It's really good for-"

"You mean it's horse poop?!" Warren asked horrified, taking a disgusted step away from the bed.

"Um... Yes, of course. It's the best fertilize-"

"We're not putting Sir Reginald in horse poop!" Warren explained outraged.

"But Sir Reginald likes horse poop," Tristan argued, trying not to laugh.

"He does not!" Warren was still as outraged as before. "We're putting him in normal soil!"

"The horse poop will be digested by earth worms very soon, so it will turn into humus. Earth worm humus is the best food for-"

"So first you want him to live in horse poop and then in worm poop?!" Warren asked in disbelief.

Tristan raised an amused eyebrow. "Warren, do you know what plants need in order to live?"

Warren stared at him defiantly. "Soil," he said firmly. "That's what you said."

Tristan smiled. "Yes, soil. I also said it's the most important part because it's the food for the plant. And humus is soil. It's a very good soil. It's rich in nutrients and provides your plant with everything it needs to be healthy and strong."

"But this is horse poop!" Warren gesticulated around wildly, pointing an accusing finger at the raised bed.

"Yes, and Sir Reginald will appreciate the horse poop." Tristan was still having a hard time not laughing at Warren's hysterical fit.

Warren was still glaring suspiciously at the raised bed. "If Reggie dies, I'm holding you accountable," he muttered darkly, though Tristan was unsure whether he was talking to the manure or Tristan himself.

"Alright." Tristan nodded, turning his face away so Warren wouldn't be able to see his amusement while he filled half of Reggie's pot with the manure.
"Now we will add a bit of the soil from the store, add Reggie, and then fill the rest of the pot with a mixture of manure and soil from the bag." He placed the half-full pot on the table. "Where should we put Reggie?" He looked around the terrace for a nice spot.

Warren took a deep breath. Did Tanner really know what he was doing? He had already nearly killed Reggie once - provided he was still alive - after all.

"How about in that corner?" Tanner suggested, pointing at the left corner between the ledge and the apartment, underneath the large transparent terrace roof that extended along both sides of the apartment, and was almost 2 meters (a bit over 6ft) wide, offering space for all sorts of things that were not meant to get wet. It had a black metal frame with 3 posts in the front of the apartment, and four on the right, slightly narrower side where Warren hadn't even gone yet.
"Tomatoes don't like to get wet so we should put him under the roof, and if it gets too hot in the afternoon, we can open the awning to give him some protection." He pointed up towards where Warren assumed was an awning hidden in the wall.
"Plus, we can watch him grow from the couch!" Tanner added with a bright grin.
