"I wasn't born in Seoul, but luckily, I got the chance to move here and complete my studies in here. I never thought that I would achieve a career as a singer, since I was really into architecture, I was looking forward to majoring in that." He smiled to himself.
"Are you still into it?" I asked as we kept on walking.
He thought about it for a few seconds. "I still like it, it's a beautiful form of art, but I like what I do better. It's fun."
"I hope to feel the same way about being a lawyer someday," I whispered, but he heard me.
"If you don't end up liking it, you can always do something involving languages. What other languages can you speak besides Korean?"
"I've always known Chinese, but I am also fluent in Spanish and English. I know a bit of Japanese and French."
He raised his eyebrows. "You should teach me sometime, I can only speak a bit of Chinese and barely any English."
"When I'm done learning how to dance." I smiled and so did he. Then, we laughed.
At that exact moment, I received a text message.
From: Channie
I'm so jealous :( what are you guys up to?
I giggled and wrote a reply.
To: Channie
Just walking through Apgujeong. Go get yourself a girlfriend, or something ;) I'll text you later.
I turned to look at Minseok and smiled. "I'm sorry, it was just Chan."
"Ah, what did he want?"
"Nothing, just asking me where we were and saying that he's jealous." I laughed and bit my lip. "That boy, seriously."
"So how did you two meet?" Minseok asked as he stared at the pavement ahead of him.
"It's kind of a funny story." I paused and took a deep breath before speaking again. "I went to Busan for a family trip, which ended up not being one, since my parents ended up not going. Chan and I bumped into each other like three times, and when he finally got the courage to talk to me and tell me that he was afraid I was his fan or some shit, I just laughed at him, but later, I realized that I had ridiculed myself, since he legitimately is an idol. After that, I searched for him and when I finally found him, I told him that I knew and that I wouldn't rat him out, and I think he kind of liked that, so we introduced ourselves. Later that night, he came by my room and we got drunk, and the rest is history."
"Drunk?" he asked with his eyes slightly widened.
I giggled. "Yeah, he brought some beers and we talked about ourselves for like two hours."
"Sorry to ask this, but did anything else happen?"
"Wha-" I realized what he meant and gulped. What the hell? Why was everyone asking that? I had already said no to Baekhyun! "No!"
He breathed. "I'm sorry, I just wanted to know."
"It's okay." I sighed. "I get that a friendship between a male and a female can be misunderstood, and even more under the circumstances which we became friends, since we were complete strangers one day and the next we're slee-" I stopped mid-sentence and smiled sheepishly. "Going around town with each other and confessing every detail about our lives. It's kind of weird, but there has never been a romantic feeling."
"It's good that you don't like him."
I stopped in my tracks and looked at him. "What?"
He came to a halt, as well. "That way I can have you for myself." He smiled and continued walking.
I just stared at him in shock.

After a few hours of roaming around, eating at a casual place and looking into stores and buying random stuff, we decided that we were good for the day. We got in his car and drove back to my place. We stayed silent for the rest of the car ride. It wasn't an uncomfortable silence.
"Today was fun," Minseok said while awkwardly scratching the back of his neck as we stood in front of the pedestrian entrance to my house. "It would be cool to do this again sometime soon."
"Yeah, I totally agree." I smiled shyly and took a newfound interest in my shoes once I felt my face heat up.
I heard him take a deep sigh. Then, I felt a pair of fingers lift up my chin. Our eyes were connected, and there was a small smile on his face. I tried to avert my gaze from his, but his fingers were firmly keeping my face in place, and my eyes had nowhere else to look at, so it was kind of inevitable.
Suddenly, I felt a pair of lips make contact with my forehead. My eyes automatically widened and my mouth kind of hung open. Jesus Christ, he certainly took me by surprise.
"I'll see you soon," he said as he bit his lower lip. "I'll be going now."
I nodded, with my lips still parted. "Goodbye..."
I opened the door and hurried inside. I quickly let out the deepest breath I had ever held in and grinned like a small child would. That guy... wow.
"Miss Sunhee, are you okay?" one of the maids asked once I went into the kitchen.
"Yeah," I said as I served myself some water. "Good night." I bowed and left.
Once I made it to my room, I jumped into the bed and lied there like a lazy starfish. After letting out a series of sighs and giggling to myself, I took my phone and texted Chanyeol.
To: Channie
I'm home. Today was fantastic. Also...
I decided to just send that, only to add more suspense to it. That way, Chanyeol's imagination would go crazy, imagining everything that could've happened, but in the end, it was just a kiss on the forehead.
From: Channie
Also, what? What happened? Did he kiss you?! Tell me!
To: Channie
ㅋㅋㅋㅋ!! He kissed my forehead!
From: Channie
Oh, no, is he a better forehead kisser than I am? :(
To: Channie
No one will ever be.
