I tried to giggle, in an attempt to cut the tension, but it felt somewhat impossible. I was so embarrassed, and Baekhyun's surprised face wasn't helping.
"I accidentally fell asleep and Chanyeol didn't wake me up." I felt a heat rise to my pale complexion. Why do I blush so easily?
Baekhyun's features softened into a cheeky smile. "Ah, I see." He winked. "Does Minseok know? I bet he'd get jealous." He chuckled rather loudly.
"Hey, Baekhyun, shut up!" I whisper-yelled, covering his mouth with my hand. "Just pretend like you didn't see me, please?"
He pulled off a thoughtful expression. "I wouldn't tell on you. That'd be troubling for Chanyeol, too."
The nausea I felt was driving me insane. "Thank you, then. I'll be going now." I quickly bowed and stepped into the elevator, not waiting for a response from my best friend's best friend.
I ran outside as fast as I could and tried to look for a patch of grass where I could vomit, when I spotted Hwanchul. Shit. I approached him slowly, smiling mildly and bowing, although I was not happy at all. "Please take me home now. I want to take a shower."
"Alright, miss." He opened the door for me, and I got in and thanked him. Then, he got on his seat and sped out of Chanyeol's residence.
When we finally reached home, I immediately jumped out of the car and ran to my room. Once I was sure the door was locked, I jolted to the bathroom and knelt down in front of the toilet, ejecting all the contents in my stomach.
Once I was done, I leaned against the wall that was parallel to the toilet and let a few tears stream down my face. I was so miserable, honestly. I didn't want to be like this. I knew I was harming myself. But no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't stop.

It had been a few days since I last saw Chanyeol. To be honest, it wasn't his fault. He invited me over and asked if he could come, but I just ignored his texts. I wasn't feeling all too well, and I wasn't ready to face anyone just yet.
It was already Friday by the time I decided to step out of my room. I lazily strolled through my house until I reached the kitchen.
"Hello," I said, then yawned.
All the staff in the kitchen greeted me back.
I got a glass and filled it with water, then went back to my room. Once I downed all the water, I went in the bathroom and took a refreshing shower. Afterwards, I changed into some comfortable clothes and lied down on my bed for the next two hours. I didn't even bother to check my phone, or whatsoever. I just wasn't in the mood.
A while later, I heard someone knocking on my door. "Come in!"
"Sunnie, there's someone expecting you downstairs." Aihye exclaimed, stepping into the room. "Get out of bed already, you lazy girl! I haven't seen you step outside in days. I know this is your summer break, but you should at least go out every so often."
I sighed. "Is it Chanyeol?"
"No. This one's a bit shorter. He says you two know each other. He's handsome. Come on." Once she realized I was refusing to get up, she grabbed a pillow and started hitting me with it.
I know this shouldn't be the behavior of someone who works for you, but Aihye was more like family to me. She was nearly 30 years of age. She had been working with us since she was 17, so it's been 13 years. She's basically my personal maid, but I think of her as an older sister instead. So we usually did this kind of things; hit each other, shout at each other, etcetera. Of course, when my parents were around, we tried to behave. But they knew how close we were anyway.
"H-hey, Aihye," I exclaimed, in between snickers. "Alright!" I yanked the pillow out of her grasp and threw it at her face. "I'll be going now." I rolled my eyes with a pouty expression.
She just laughed and pushed me outside.
We made our way downstairs. As I was about to step into the living room, Aihye pulled me back and stared at me. She then fixed my hair and smiled. "Fighting!" she muttered and ran off.
I huffed and walked into the living room. I noticed Minseok sitting in the couch, with his two hands clasped together. He was staring off into space, and he looked superb. The best part is that he wasn't even trying to look marvellous, he was naturally flawless.
His eyes suddenly landed on me, and a smile crept over his lips. "Sunhee." He stood up and walked his way over to me.
I bit my lip, feeling sort of self conscious all of a sudden. I looked like a crazy person! My hair was tied up in a... let's say, an attempt of a ponytail. Most of it was sticking out of the hair tie anyway. My face looked like death, since I hadn't been eating or sleeping properly for the past few days. I looked like an ill person.
He suddenly wrapped his arms around me and nuzzled my neck. "Hello," he whispered against my neck, and I froze.
I couldn't manage to choke out any words, not even a simple 'hi'.
He then backed away and firmly gripped onto my arms. He analyzed my features, and the smile on his face vanished. "Are you okay? You look sick."
I coughed twice and avoided his intense gaze. "Uh, yes... I am. I just haven't slept well lately." I fake smiled and sighed through my nose.
He looked at me with suspicion in his eyes, but nodded after a while. "So I heard from Chanyeol that you've been ignoring him and his requests for the past few days. I came here to take you out, if you'd like."
"Out?"
"Yeah, like on a date." He grinned. His smile was the cutest ever.
Date?! "Ah, yeah... I'd love to."
"Then get ready. I'll take you to the movies today."
