I think the future has a lot in store
I don't know it personally
But I can imagine how
The dots will start lining up
It can't be for naught
My plotline shouldn't be dense
(Though that would match
The way I write my stories)
When will the story align?
And the reader goes "ahh!"
I'm waiting for the connection
So I can understand why
You find your ways into my dreams
There's too may coincidences
So I'll take notes and write poetry
I need to have something to show
Our future kids at the family reunion
