Can you teach someone to love you?
Can you mastermind a plan
A trickster's web never fails
But how come I never learned those tricks
Have I always been the pawn?
Controlled by the players who
Hid the rulebook
I want to stop my love
I want to forget about a crush
Can that work in reverse?
Can I convince him to love me?
They say love's real and uncontrollable
But is that just the lie they use
To cover up their games and cons
Someone give me the rulebook
I don't want to ask again
My heart's been hurt too many times
I've been benched and no one will tell me
When I got to tryout and how to leave the game
