Tom's POV:

"This is the location of the target. You go to the location where marked on the map and await further orders," commanded Skyla, pointing at a map and then handing it to me. I folded the map up and placed it in a pocket of the new combat trousers Skyla gave me. The body armour was heavy, and the 2 machetes were also reasonably heavy. They were in sheaths on both sides of my combat trousers, easily accessible for use. "Alright, ma'am!" I shout, saluting. "Oh come on Tom, you're making me blush," replied Skyla, blowing me a little kiss and smirking at me. I tried to ignore it, thinking of Lucy.

I walk out and begin travelling to the location. After an hour or so of walking, I reach the location. I bring my hand up to my ear, pressing a button, allowing me to talk to Skyla back at base. "I'm at the location. What now?" I ask. The coms buzz into life. "Head into the building," she replied. I walked up to the door and tried to open it. Locked. I sighed and kicked the door as hard as I could, breaking it down. "I'm in, what now?" I ask. "Find the people," she replied. I was confused by the short replies, but oh well. I searched the building to find weapons in crates around the house, "what the?" I ask. "Rebels, ex-syndicate members trying to rise to take us down, I just need you to find the people and try to talk to them," replied Skyla. "Copy," I walk upstairs and open one of the doors, and see a bunch of soldiers and rebels standing in a room around a map. Luckily, it was not armed. "Hey! Who are you?" One of the questions. "Are you with the syndicate?" Another asks. "I am yes, and I'm here to -" I try to say, but I get caught off in this overwhelming sense of rage and anger. I scream with anger, pull a machete out, and charge. I stab one through the stomach, grab the shirt on his back, and a fling with the wall, causing him to smash against it and slide down. One of the rebels punches me, I turn and slash his face, and then kick him in the stomach, forcing him to stumble back. "What the who are you?" One shouts out. I turn to face him and say, "I'm the person that is putting you rebels IN YOUR PLACE!" I run at him, plunging the machete into his chest, and forcing him against the wall, I pull the machete out and then stab it into his shoulder and pull it out again, watching him collapse to the floor.

I hear a little laugh of pride from Skyla over the coms, but I'm too angry to care. I turn to see a rebel trying to escape. I run yelling, jump, and then land, stabbing the machete down into his back, causing him to scream in pain, and I scream with anger. I pull the machete out and look around the room, breathing rapidly. My eyes dart around, but no one moves. My anger seems to just slip away. I press the button on my coms to talk to Skyla, "What the- I'm sorry! I didn't mean to, I-" I stumble for words. "it's ok, Tom, that works too," replied Skyla, sounding happier than she should. "Just come back to base, and we will get this sorted, yeah?" She stated. "Copy that," I reply. I look around the room at the mutilated bodies and pools of blood. What have I done? What did I do? Why did I do this?

Lucy's POV:

Jace came around, took one look at my hair, and immediately said, "Looking good! Love the new style. " "Thanks," I replied. "We are going to get Tom back Jace, he didn't want to hurt you, I promise we will all be together again," I stated, looking into my reflection. "I know, we will be friends again," Jace replies, his hand on my shoulder. "Skyla won't tear us apart, I, no we will bring us all together." I continued to stare into my reflection, thinking about the three of us being together, working together. It's beautiful. Truly beautiful. I wonder what Tom is doing now? Is he also reflecting on what is happening? I do hope so.

Tom's POV:

I look around the room, bodies, blood and limbs litter the floor like plastic on a beach. I press my com, buzzing it to life. "The job is done," I say. "Good work," replied Skyla. "I'm sorry again, I didn't mean to - I don't know what's happening." I stutter down the com. "It's ok, it's getting the job done faster and better, I guess! Always look on the positive side, Tom, " replied Skyla. "The positive side of killing people?" I question. "Look, I'm trying to make you feel better, just come back to base, and we will brief you on what's next." Commanded Skyla. "Copy that." I walk back to the base, I take my time, though.
