Chapter 16 - Learning the Story

"You want to tell me that she isn't a human anymore?! How did that happen? And what is with the others? Their families are worried about them.", I told them, asking questions.

No, that couldn't be true. Roxana was a human. Maybe losing her sanity was real, but she had to be normal. It's just impossible for her to be one. Allison turned to me, looking sad.

"I'm sorry, but...that's the truth. If you want, we can tell you the story of what happened before, but the thing is, we don't know all of it. If you want to know the whole truth, you'll have to look for them. For those children. They might know more."

"Ok. Could you start telling the story from your perspective, please?", I asked Allison.

"Of course. Well, we never met them in person, besides Roxana, but that was at the end. From what we gather, Roxana was the first one entering the studio. She got knocked out and got here through the Ink Machine. At the beginning, she met the most feared creature in this world. The Ink Demon."

"What's an Ink Demon?"

"He likes to smile...and he kills anything that moves. That was my description of him, before she came and turned that way. Now she took this description as well. Both of them are feared the most.", told me Allison.

Wow, such courage would I never have. This girl...she might knew this place before.

"How does it continue?", I asked.

"Well, she and the Ink Demon went throughout this studio."

"They eventually met me. I found them in my office as they were turning the pump-switch on, just as Henry did before.", told me Sammy.

"The ink version of him."

"Exactly. We were on our way to the exit, but then a terrifying creature attacked us. Master Dead Machine. Roxana got unconcious and got took away to safety by one of her classmates, Dimitri. I knew where he was going. We couldn't defeat Frederic in that moment, but he couldn't defeat either. So he vanished. We teleported to them. They were okay."

"Wait. Is Frederic this Master Dead Machine?"

"Yes, he is. He tried to take over this world. He would have succeeded, if not Roxana.", said Allison.

I was so interested in this lore. I couldn't believe what things had happened here.

"So yeah, we were looking for Buddy, the perfect Boris, that came out of the Ink Machine. Sadly he was captured by Alice. We went there to save him, but then she came. She wanted to take someone from us, but would give us Buddy back.

So Roxana suggested she would do her tasks, so that no one would be stuck with Alice. Eventually, as she was doing her second task with Dimitri, they had to stop doing them. Alice was under a spell from Master Dead Machine. She was like a puppet to him.

Roxana and Dimitri were in the lift at the time. They landed in the sewers, Dimitri killing King Widow, a gigantic ink spider. They went through the sewers and entered the city. There they met Chris.

They them teleported to level 14, meeting Uma, who was only playing with everyone's mind here at the Studio. Because Uma tried to get Roxana stop asking for more information, using Dimitri as her toy, he and Roxana started a little fight. And so Typhon had to come.

If not M'Lord, then Roxana would be tricked. After she was free, she was weak, so the Ink Demon, for her brother, took her from there. As she woke up, she wanted to help her brother.

She took the The End reel, that could be stolen by Wilson, which would make us lose if he would get it, and tried to escape. She got stabbed into her stomach with a knife by Wilson. Thankfully, Henry killed him, picked up Roxana and ran to her brother, his son."

That was much what Sammy told me there. And it even wasn't the end. He then told me that "Bendy" saved Roxana with a little help from his dad, Henry, by transforming her into an Ink Demon. The way they did it was so unnatural, but at the same time, very interesting. Allison continued:

"We saw that the boys found each other. They came here to look for Roxana, but then...they wanted to leave without her. Also, we found out a very bad new. We found out that Dimitri was helping Typhon as well.

As we told the trio what happened and what we discovered, Roxana turned mad. She locked up the studio and teleported each of the boys to an other part of the studio. She was having fun. She started wanting revenge. That way she was losing her sanity day by day.

That's all we know.

Now she's getting even more powerful, being insane. That's why we had to get the crew and make a team. In this room or safe. We build it over, making it hard to get in here. We installed cameras so that we know who's coming. You can't see them. You're welcome to stay here, (Y/N)."

"Thank you, guys.", I thanked them.

It was so cruel what her classmate did, but she was crew as well. And that's what happened. It was the exact information I needed. Nothing more. But if I'll get more, then I could help them somehow. I asked:

"Who is in this crew?"

"So. It's me, Allison and Tom as you see. Henry count as well. Then come people you don't know yet, which are Porter, Heidi, Betty, Buddy, Big Steve and Joey's memory. Alice and Norman would be also included, if they weren't under the spell. We have to break it first."

"And what's with Bendy, Sammy? He's your lord. Why isn't he included?", I asked him.

"He thanked me, but he declined it because he wanted to take care of his sister. He told me that he would try to keep her sane as long as he can. Besides, Henry would communicate with him to tell him new info.", told me Sammy.

It was making sense. Suddenly we heard a knock on the door. Allison went to the cameras. She looked shocked. I came up to her. I looked through the cameras and saw two of the children, that were missing. Allison opened the metal door. They ran into the room, Allison closing the door after they entered.

"Thank you for opening. We thought we would be dead.", said the tallest boy.

He was like two meters tall.

"Who are you?", I asked.

The smaller one answered:

"I'm Benton and this is Bartholomew."

"I'm (Y/N). Nice to meet you. I came here to find you and your friends. Are you alright?"

"Well, we would be...if not Roxana.", answered Bartholomew.

I was starting to think that she would not be to rescue. But I think, there's always hope. I then asked them why. Bartholomew answered:

"She spotted us in the Little Devil Lounge. We were only looking for food, as suddenly she attacked. We ran as fast as we could through her traps and attacks. It was so hard. We would have died in there, but she got attacked from behind by the Butcher Gang, who saved us. That's when we ran here and yeah, here we are."

"Do you know where Luke is? w
We were with him in the sewers, as suddenly he got yeeted into a hole. It was too deep and dark.", told us Benton.

We answered no. I thought for a moment. I had to do something to help them...to find them.

I have to speak with Roxana.
