Dimitri

"...You're safe with me."

Those where Roxana's last words, before I fell unconscious. That pain. I could still feel it. It was sharp. It made me cough earlier. I wasn't giving up my life that easily. Not now. Nut what can I do in this situation? My life lays now on Roxana's hands. I trusted her at that moment. No disbelieves.

"...Guess we lied to each of us."

Then...there was guilt. I should have never trusted him.

"It (coughs) wasn't my fault. (coughs) He gave it into my veins. (calves) I'm not as stupid (cuffs) as you think I am."

"Who is he? Who gave you it into your veins?"

"Wilson."

I should have never came closer to him. I...should have never believed Uma about what she was telling me.

"Nothing is wrong."

Uma started to tell me:

"You can tell them if you want."

In that moment, Uma came into my mind. She told me those nonsenses.

"Roxana is childish. She'll tell our enemy everything, not even knowing who he is."

"She hears on the demon. He will use her to kill everybody. More info. Better chance to win. That's why we can't tell her. You have to shut it. Even if it cost you losing your friend."

I know that Roxana is childish, but she would never say everything to an unknown person. Besides, she knew the games. She knew those guys. And she wouldn't trust people and creatures, who are new to her that quick.

Why was I so stupid? Uma was using her powers against me. She used them to control me for a moment. She then said through my mouth:

"I don't think she's ready?"

And that's where the fight started
Now I know, who I should have trusted.

Finally, I was awake.

I opened my eyes. I felt different. I looked around. Roxana with closed eyes was holding my left not inked hand. I turned around to my other arm. What I saw shocked me.

My forearm was fully in this gold ink. Not only that, I had CLAWS! I raised my inked arm and touched my head. I was theorising, that I might also have horns now. And my theory was right. I had horns as well, but they felt different, than how Roxana's looked.

Her horns came from the sides, where her ears were. My horns on the other hand came out from my forehead. Both of them.

Suddenly, I felt a warm hand on my right shoulder. I turned to the direction from where the arm came. It was Roxana. She must have noticed me being awake. She had relieve on her face.

Was she worried about me dying? She then hugged me around my neck. I felt a wave from warmth flow through me. I surrounded her waist with my arms, hugging her.

"I'm so glad you made it, Dimitri."

"I glad as well. Thank you for what you've done."

It was then I heard cries come from her. I whispered to her while stroking her head:

"Hey...shhhhhh...everything is ok. I'm here. Don't worry."

She nodded. Then, she slowly layed her head on my chest, sitting sidewards towards me. I continued stroking her. She looked so harmless in that position. It looked like she needed me.
