(Y/N)
I didn't knew where I was going. But this little girl knew. And she needed my help.
"You're names Uma, right?", I asked.
"Yup. That's me. Long time I wasn't here. Well, days ago. But I finally found a way to break the spell. Thanks to Roxana's blood."
"Why her blood?"
"It is somehow toxic. As one drop fell on my father's body, aka Typhon's body, it broke all of his spells, besides the strongest one. That's also why Sammy and Susie are human again."
"Since when did Roxana gave you her blood?"
"You ask too many questions, (Y/N). But she gave me her blood when she came back from Audrey, left Dimitri,... found Henry and was on her way to her brother."
"She just left Dimitri? How cruel just to leave someone for dead."
"She didn't. He made her go. He started... panicking out of no reason and attacked her. Long story short, Dimitri knew about this circus from the whole beginning."
I was shocked and stood now in place in disbelief. How could he betray us all? And since the beginning? I only found a long audiolog from an employee from this studio called Wally Franks. He saw Typhon and Frederic and the beginning of Typhon's plan.
Still... Typhon was back then harmless and it was 1930. It was almost 100 years ago. 94 years to be exact. Another information I got from that audiolog.
"H-He... knew? But... why-"
"Dimitri lied to all of us. (sigh) I... wanted you all safe. The beginning was... bad and... I was more influenced by my father... not seeing that he was the bad guy here... and that Dimitri was the antagonist all along."
"Mind telling me?"
Uma looked at me, her whole appearance seemed to show guilt and regret, as well shame and anger. She probably never wanted all of this to escalate this way. She was wrong at some point but now she's on our side, finally free from her father.
"I'll tell you, (Y/N). But now... we have to get to Betty."
"Betty? Who's that?", I asked.
"Wilson's housekeeper. She's very nice. She took care of me when I escaped my father after the spell was broken."
She looked away, pointing at the end of the hallway we were in.
"Wilson and Typhon will be there to attack her and go to the Ink Machine. They want to merge together. They... want to recreate a character, which will make sure of the Ink Demon's demise."
I was interested in what she was telling. I came to her and followed her.
"What character?"
"Shipahoy Dudley. In the previous cycle, Wilson got his soul be the one that made Shipohay Wilson. He got killed by Audrey... and in his Shipahoy form by the Ink Demon."
"The Ink Demon must be really the unstoppable, immortal and powerful lord he is."
Uma, who was flying in the air, looked surprised by my description. She then looked back forward and continued talking.
"Yes. I still am curious why he trusted Roxana at the very beginning. I was there since the beginning. I thought I would be the Villain. I wanted to push the Ink Demon down. Then I realized I was wrong. I was blinded by revenge and didn't see what I actually wanted. I wanted my father to be gone and leave this place."
"I feel very sad for you. But we have to be quiet."
I pointed at the hole in the wall were an old man, probably this Wilson, and Typhon stood. I tried to hear the conversation but the only words I heard were "merge", "die" and "Recreation".
"You don't need to hear this shit."
"Uma! What the hell? Why not?"
"Cuz I already told you everything."
That's when Uma flew at them, attacking them. I was like... "WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU, UMA!" Shouldn't we wait for the right moment?
Uma just showed me "Nah, we don't" by flying away. Gosh, if I were her, I would literally think twice what I am going to do.
"Ahhh!! What are you doing, Uma!", yelled her father.
Uma, confident as always, ignored him and kept attacking.
"Do something about it, father!"
"What if I do?", asked Wilson sarcastically and pulled out a controller with a satelite on it and a button.
"UMA!", I yelled.
Uma noticed it but couldn't react on time as Wilson clicked the button and activated his signaltowers.
Now that I think about it... Wait. These towers were removed from here earlier. How are they back?
Unfortunately, these towers made Uma fell on the floor, lying there and probably dying.
"Now... (inhales) We can continue... dear Typhon.", squeezed Wilson out of his lungs.
Typhon and Wilson grabbed each other and jumped into the Ink Machine. I ran out of the hole and came to Uma.
"Uma... Uma, please. You can't die... Not now... Never. You have to survive for crying out loud. Survive, you understand me?!", I cried out.
"T-... Take me... away... from... h-here."
"And what about-"
"We came too... (cough) late..."
I nodded and picked her up, running out of the room as fast as I could. I found myself at the end in a room with a projector headed man, realming it.
"Excuse me, Sir. Do you know where we can find-"
"SHREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEK!", called out the man.
I don't think he was fond of visitors. He just attacked us. But I couldn't fight back. I had Uma in my hands.
"Mister Polk! CALM DOWN!", I screamed, being louder than the sound he had made earlier.
He looked at me, curious what I'll do next. He shook his head and grabbed my arm. I tried to free myself but his grip was too tight. He started running, pulling me with Uma in my hands after him.
"We need the Ink Demon's sister.", he said.
