Chapter 20 - Hard truth

Starting my job I started to look for that friend, Dimitri. I don't know where he could be, but I think he's not around Animation Alley or somewhere around HeavenlyToys.

I went to the entrance of the Animation Alley, crossed an ink puddle, walked to a hole and...looked at the opposite side from the alley.

There was a little path, but I had to crouch to get through. After I stood on the other side, I went through those halls to check what's in there. There were lockers and with each room even more of them.

I was standing in a big room with a dead Lost One, who was laying against a wall with the words, THEY CRAWL. I knew that this Lost One was dead because his head was...separated.

The thing that made me more uncomfortable was to think that he had the head was hanging from the ceiling. It was really a horror. I stood there like hypnotized.

I noticed something. It felt like it shouldn't have been there. I came closer. It was ink, but it had the color gold or yellow. Wow, I wanted to touch it. It looked so pretty. So gorgeous. Almost there. Only a few millimeters.

"Stop right there!", a voice spoke behind me.

Oh no. I'm in trouble.

"What is it? What have I done wrong?!"

"You can't touch the unstable ink! Well, not now at least.", spoke another voice.

"Why?", I asked.

"Because-", started voice number 2.

"Ehj! Sa mal! It's my turn to talk!", broke voice number 1.

"Shut up, Chris! We aren't going to fight again like by those other moments. Let's make it work.", suggested voice number 2.

I turned around. Two teenaged boys stood there. They looked normal...human. Just like Bartholomew and Benton did. Their clothes were covered in ink as well, as most part of their faces.

"I'm sorry..., but who are you?", I asked.

They looked at each other. Confused. The small one turn to me and spoke:

"I'm Chris and this is Luke. We lived away from this world. We never knew it existed."

"I'm Draco. Chris, can you tell me how did you both got here?"

It was weird using this nickname, but it was cool. Chris answered:

"It was 2023. I don't know how long we've been stuck in here. I don't even remember properly how we got here."

"Same goes with me.", said Luke.

2023. How long were they stuck in here? Almost a year?

"Did a woman called Nadai brought you here? I met her at our home world. She was the reason I got here. And you?"

"Not only her. There was a second woman. She had blonde-greenish hair, a dark cyan long skirt and a cyan long sleeve shirt. Her eyes didn't had pupils and they were fully purple. Like an alien.", told us Chris.

Luke nodded only. So they were the reason.

"But they weren't actually the reason. We escaped them, but Bartholomew turned on the Ink Machine and so...we landed here. Me, Bartholomew, Benton and Chris got separated from each other. Luckily, we found each other at the end. Not only we found each other, but also Dimitri. He told us we have to leave. I asked him why, but he didn't answer.", told me Luke.

"From what I gather, Dimitri had a little fight with Roxana so that Typhon could come into her mind. She got saved by her brother, Bendy. Not only did they had a little fight, Dimitri did many things against her. That's why Roxana hates him. He-", I started.
