I don't realise how long I've been sitting here when I see Katie and Catherine coming out of the room where we all met the band. Katie has a massive smile on her face, a bit like mine was when I left that room. She waves and they stop while they are sorting something out in their bag.

I walk over to them and ask how their meet and greet went. "It was incredible, thank you. I felt a little intimidated at first but they were so friendly. I heard them talking about someone who had just been in before me having had a panic attack, Jon was hoping that they were okay. We realised they were talking about you and I said I have your social media handles so they can contact you directly. Donnie recognised me from twitter and Joey remembered seeing me at his show. How was it for you besides the panic attack, are you okay now?" I listen as she relays what happened for her. I can't believe she's actually given them my social media and told them to contact me, this girl is a friend for life, I can tell. "Thank you. Jon was really worried about me but he was so calm and reassuring. I hope they listen to you." I walk with them as we buy our merchandise and snacks from the confectionery counters. I allow them to get served first while I decide what to buy. I notice how people keep pushing in front of them when Katie is trying to get served. Just as I'm about to step in and tell people to get out of her way, they finally get to the counters. I bet they endure this a lot. People can be so selfish and stupid when they can someone who's in a wheelchair and they have to keep manoeuvring round and through them. This takes about twenty minutes or so each to buy from both counters.

"Where are you sitting at?" I ask them hoping that they're nearby. Katie looks at their tickets and tells me they're in 'Block 115', down at the front but to the side. "I'm not allowed to be in the actual front rows because of health and safety reasons so this the closest I can get to the stage but I have to climb out of this chair and sit on an ordinary seat." Ohh okay. That sucks. Looking at my own ticket, I'm delighted to see that I'm actually a row behind them. Yay! I'm looking on my social media and I notice I have some notifications. I scream out loud when I see Jon's username, that not only has he followed me but also sent me a direct message. 'Hey Kelly, Jon here, your friend Katie gave me your social details but I hope you are feeling better now. I hope you and Katie enjoy the show.' Oh my god! Both Katie and Catherine are looking at me with smiles on their faces albeit a confused type of smile. "It worked, Jon has messaged me and mentioned you! Thank you. Best day ever!"

I screech at them causing us all to laugh like we're a bunch of crazy people. I reply back to him saying, 'Hi Jon, I'm good now thanks. Thank you for being there for me when I needed someone. Please can I ask you a favour?' I don't know if he'll respond as I imagine he and the guys will be getting ready for the stage. I'm surprised when my phone pings. It's Jon! 'Glad to hear it Kelly. Yes, what is it?' I go to tell him what my favour is and I really hope he can do it for me. Time will tell though. I know he's a good guy and will do whatever he can to make people happy. Catherine stands up to take a picture of me and Katie, after asking me if I was okay with that. I ask them to send me a copy of the photo. It'll be nice to keep alongside my VIP photo with the band. What a day I'm having so far and it's only going to keep being amazing once the show starts. Jon is just so wonderful! All the guys are but he is pretty damn special. I knew I would have a great day but not as good as it is, it's a hundred times better than I could ever imagine!
The lights go off and all you can hear is as the music stops, is screaming!! Not screaming as in bad but excitement. Again, my heart beats fast. It's weird knowing that the five guys that I met not so long ago will soon be on stage and I can't wait to see Jon. It makes me happy to see his sweet, handsome face enjoying himself like he does.

Even though I've seen clips of their shows online, I have never seen the New Kids before so I wasn't quite sure what to expect. Those clips were brilliant but it's nothing compared to this now, seeing them perform live, right before my very own eyes and ears!! Jordan had pointed out towards me to Jon but they realised Katie was in front so they both waved to us, Jon to me and Jordan to Katie. Then Jon would keep looking my way every now and then throughout the show. I took some pictures on my phone and recorded a few videos of them to keep. Thankfully I upgraded my phone recently so the quality was much better than what it would have been on my old phone.

It was someone's birthday in the crowd and the guys had got them up on stage for Jon to sing happy birthday to, it was amazing to see him shine. I'd love to hear him sing more because he's got such a sweet voice, sweet just like him! I'm super sad now that the show is over but I'm keeping hopeful that he'll grant my favour, whenever he can.
