Secret Safe With Me!

I felt relieved when I discovered that we were driving in separate cars so that we could have some us time away from Jordan and Katie every now and then. We followed them to the local grocery store. They have left us behind which I don't mind. I haven't been to this store before so I don't know my way round and I end up staying by Jon's side. "What exactly are we supposed to be getting here?" I ask Jon who's busy reading through the ingredients of a jarred sauce. "I don't know." Hmm that helps but I guess I could buy my snacks for the cinema as they'll be cheaper. As soon as we're walking past the snack aisle, I pull Jon down it. "I want to get some snacks for the cinema." He looks at me. "I'll get the snacks babe." I roll my eyes. "No, Jon. You already said you'll pay for the tickets so at least let me buy the snacks." My heart flutters as he leans in to kiss me on the cheek. "Of course, darling. I'll have whatever you choose." I smile, happy knowing that I can contribute to this unexpected date. When we get to the checkout, Jordan and Katie are already there. I peek in their shopping trolley and notice how much they've bought. "It's for when we get back to mine later." Katie appears before me. She must have noticed me peeking. "See you's there!" Jordan calls out in front of us. We wave them off.

Arriving at the cinema, there's a queue that leads to outside so the four of us wait at the end. Thankfully it's a warm and dry day. I watch how Jordan pushes Katie in her wheelchair and he's so careful, I'd even say it was cute to see. Jon catches me watching his brother with a smile on his face. "You're beginning to warm up to him now. I can tell. I'm glad, sweetheart." I blush. "He's still a pain in my backside but it's adorable seeing him with her. I didn't think I would ever say that about him." He chuckles. "Don't let him hear you being overly nice about him or he'll get big headed!" Jon whispers. Yup and as if he hasn't already got a big head. "What are we going to watch?" I ask. We all look at each other while we're thinking. "We did think 'This Means War' with Reese Witherspoon, Chris Pine..." then Katie chips in, smiling, "Tom Hardy!" Jordan rolls his eyes at her, I shoot a glance at Jon who raises his brow to me, obviously thinking the same thing as me. I'm not sure if I can remember who this Tom is. "Remind me who Tom is again?" Katie's grin just gotten bigger, "Tom Hardy... he's been in Locke, Legend which I want to see and loads of others. He's really good!" Watching Jordan's reaction to Katie getting excited over this guy sets me off laughing. Katie gestures for me to lean down to her, "although he's not a patch on this guy by me but don't tell him that!" She tease. "Secret safe with me." I motion my finger across my mouth as if I'm closing a zip. We finally get inside the cinema, the brothers go to buy the tickets while me and Katie pay for our snacks, well I help her get for her and Jordan. She orders two drinks, popcorn for Jordan and chocolates for herself.

Inside the movie screen room, Jordan lifts Katie up into his arms as they decided they wanted to sit next to each other with us. Me and Jon carry all of the snacks. Once in our seats, I let my eyes roam around and it's the fanciest cinema that I've ever been to. Jordan and Katie are by the wall on their own couch and we're next to them on ours. The room fills up a little more but thankfully everyone is spread out as I hate sitting near people that I don't know. It's awkward and uncomfortable. I find myself relaxing more when the lights dim. I look over at Katie, she's beaming. No guesses as to why she's excited and I chuckle to myself. "What's funny?" Jon leans in to me. "I'm laughing at Katie. She is a fan of Tom Hardy but I don't think your brother is too pleased that he's going to have watch his girl ogle over another guy." He turns to look at the pair. Jordan is whispering to Katie causing her to giggle. He whispers, "he's probably trying to big himself up to her." Eww, "Jon, I don't even want that image in my head, thanks." Jon chuckles deeply. "Whatever he's saying, look at her face. She's adorable, she's smitten and she's very happy. She's definitely not faking being happy with him, cos it's dark in here and there's no one that she has to put up a front to protect herself. He's doing the same, that's the real Jordan there. You'll see how different he is from now to when he's in the public eye where he's more reserved." I take in what he's said and I can't disagree with his statement. The movie starts. I settle against Jon with his arm wrapped around my waist. As I'm watching the screen, I wonder how does Reese Witherspoon always look incredible and youthful. I know she'll be wearing a ton of makeup but she's had kids and isn't twenty one anymore.

I find myself really getting into the movie, it has a bit of everything; action, humour and a little bit of romance. I glance over to Katie. She's literally drooling over Tom who's currently on the screen and I laugh loudly. Jon asks me what I'm laughing at. I tell him. My eyes are back watching the screen. I feel Jon leaning over the armrest on his other side, which is near Jordan. He whispers to him. I can't make out what they've said but I'm too busy enjoying the movie.
When the end credits start to roll up on the screen, I shuffle forward on the couch. From the corner of my eye, I notice the two lovebirds busy making out. I roll my eyes. They're sickening. Jon leans in to kiss me on the cheek. "Wanna drive somewhere private for a few minutes until we meet them two for dinner?" He asks. Not having to think twice, I agree.

Jon leans towards Jordan and tells them we'll see them at the fast food joint in about half an hour or so. He checks to see if they need any help with anything first but they just ask if we'll take the rubbish and Katie's handbag to put it on her wheelchair, ready for her. So that's what we do. Jordan follows with Katie held tightly in his arms. Once they're okay, we tell them we will catch up shortly.
