As soon as me and Katie exchange glances at each other, she keeps smirking and wriggling her brows at me. "What?" Unable to take it anymore. "You seem really happy, giddy almost. Like the cat that got the cream..." She giggles when she sees my face turning red. "Awww, I'm sorry. I'm just teasing you. It's really good to see you happy and ready to let your hair down." I hug her. I've never had a proper friend before and I'd be lost without her in my life. There are times when I can see glimpses of Jordan in her, it's cute but annoying. You can tell they spend a lot of time together. As much as I love spending time with Jon, I do need some time to myself for a bit of a breather.
Me and Katie hang out in the sitting area of the dressing rooms while the guys are busy doing their thing. Jared comes to let us know that the guys are going to do their meet and greets with the blockheads. He asks if we want to go and watch it happen but we're happy just staying here.
We decide to go and spy on the guys meeting the fans. Except as soon as we are in earshot, Jordan notices Katie. Jon hasn't noticed me yet. It feels surreal to think that this was how me and Katie had met the guys. Could never have imagined that we'd all fall in love. I hear Katie laughing quietly so my attention focuses on her. She's telling Jordan to smile even wider and to concentrate on the fans. Jon finally notices me after observing his brother's interaction with Katie. I copy Katie's actions and I can see him laughing. Then I sit down on the side as I watch the meet and greet event. It's interesting to see how people react to the guys. I think back to when I first met them. There's no signs of anyone having a panic attack from meeting the guys. "What are you thinking about Kelly?" I turn my head towards Katie. "Just back to when we first met them. When I first met you too. I've never had a friend that I could call my best friend which is brilliant. My life is better since then." Her eyes well up and she reaches out to wrap her arms around me.
So far the show is fantastic and I'm loving every fan girl's dream, knowing that I'm the one who'll be with my guy. Perhaps I'm being a little smug but why shouldn't I, Jon is the man of my dreams and he's mine! "Oh crap!!" Katie yells beside me, I turn to face her. Her face is white as a ghost. "Katie, what's wrong?" She points to the stage. I follow her pointing to find Jordan on the floor. The guys quickly hoist him up and shuffle him to the side where he's met by the security guys. "I need to see him." I watch as Katie struggles to just sit here and wait. "You should go." She nods and Catherine pushes her away. Katie's auntie Margaret stays with me, which I'm kind of grateful for as I would feel anxious being here by myself after what's happened. "Oh heck, I hope he's okay. Are you okay hun?" She asks me. I smile weakly at her. "I'm worried about Katie. She'll be worrying like crazy about Jordan, knowing how much she worries about stuff." She lightly hugs me. "Catherine is with her, so she'll be fine. You just concentrate on your lovely man up there and enjoy the rest of the show." I nod.
It's about twenty minutes later when Katie comes back to join us. I can tell she's been crying. Her focus is firmly set on Jordan as I follow her gaze. The guys especially Jon each give him a half hug as he hobbles on the stage. The crowd goes crazy to see him back and chant his name, repeatedly. Jon looks relieved which I'm glad to see.
The crowds have almost disappeared and the security guys are leading us backstage to where the band is. Thankfully the guys have already showered so we can get on the buses as that's how we're travelling to the next hotel which will be tomorrow by the time we arrive.
"How was Katie?" I pull away from Jon. "Obviously worried about Jordan. She looked like she had seen a ghost when he went off stage." He pulls back closer to his chest again. "Hopefully he'll rest enough for the next show. We've all had injuries over the years so it's nothing new to us. But with it being our J, he's one of our main guys. It wouldn't matter so much if it were me." I scowl up at him. "Jonathan, you matter just as much as any of the others! Don't talk yourself down like that." He chuckles into the top of my head. "Babe, I'm not a lead singer, that's all I'm saying. Think of it this way... who sings the most leads of all five of us?" I think to myself but he carries on talking... "Donnie, Joey and Jordan. Then Danny then me. I'm not putting myself down by any means. I'd happily sit on a chair throughout the show but the others would hate that and rightly so." We both yawn and decide to get ready for bed. We're laid in the bed and oh my goodness, it's so bloody bumpy! You can hear every little thing rattle. I snuggle up against Jon and somehow we manage to doze off to sleep.

The night was fairly rough due to the bus being so bumpy causing everything to rattle. We both wake up feeling unrested. When the bus pulls up to the next hotel, we grab our stuff and head straight to check in. There we're told we are welcome to the hotel's private suite turned into a restaurant for dinner and that's our plan for after we've showered and feeling recharged.
We hear a kerfuffle outside in the main lobby and then suddenly the doors open. Jordan pushing Katie and as soon as he notices us, he wanders towards us. Katie's auntie and cousin following behind them. Looking at them once they stop at the table, I notice the dark shadows on their faces. Me and Jon exchange glances. "Sit down!" My head turns at the raised voice of Katie. Jordan rolls his eyes. I raise my brow as if to say what they hell?! Jordan's security guy sits himself down with Jon's guy on the next table. "I'm fine babe, stop fussing." I hear Katie sighing. "What's going on?" Jon asks what we're all curious about. "Just Katie treating me like I'm an invalid who can't do anything. It's driving me bloody crazy. I'm not a baby." I gasp. Not realising how I actually spoke out my thoughts, as everyone turns to look at me. Before I know what I'm doing, I stand up and walk round to Katie and pull her away from the table.

Once we're at a safe distance from everyone, I ask her if she is okay

Once we're at a safe distance from everyone, I ask her if she is okay. "I'm just worried about him. He was tossing and turning around through the night, groaning in pain and he was wincing when he was trying to help me. I eventually got him to let my cousin help me get ready. But I can't believe he just said that though." Her bottom lip comes out slightly as she tries to keep herself from crying. "I'm sure he didn't mean it in a bad way. Especially when it comes to you. He's obviously stubborn and doesn't like asking for help." I can't believe that I'm even defending him. "Do you think he sees me as an invalid?" I try not to frown at her honest question. "No. I think you should talk to him though. Get him to rest up for a few hours. If you don't, then I will." She stretches her arms out to give me a hug. "Men are pigs sometimes!" I joke, trying to cheer her up while she wipes her tears away. "They're stubborn mules. Maybe I'll just refrain from any bedroom activities til he gets over himself." She laughs quietly. Her smile turns into a frown... "am I making a mountain out of a mole with how I'm feeling?" I shake my head. "No, Katie. I know he was just lashing out but he shouldn't have said what he said. I can totally see why it would upset you." I reach my arm out to wrap around her shoulders.
I feel an arm graze my waist causing me to lift my head to find Jon standing by my side. "Everything okay?" Katie nods shyly. "Your brother is a jerk." He kneels down to be eye level with Katie. "Why don't we leave you and Jordan to talk, or go to your room to talk about things? We can keep your family company, perhaps we can go for a little drive out for an hour or so?"
So that's what happens. Me, and Jon take Katie's auntie and cousin out for a little tour in the mini bus. Leaving the troubled lovebirds to sort things out.
