Summary:

What happens when rumors get spread, and you don't know whether to believe them or not

A new student starts at UA, closely followed by rumors that everyone seems to believe, but one- the one being in the center of it all. He has no clue as to what is going on, but as his classmates' behaviors starts to intensify and change, he realises that these rumors may not be as innocent as he first thought, and that he may not have as many people by his side, as he had believed to begin with.

(A/n Don't know if the names are correct but I've tried looking them up)

"A new student? Who is it?-"

"Someone who started in class F-"

"He's-"

Conversations could be heard all around the school, as the news of a new student spread like wildfire. All that he knew about the new student, came from the constant conversations that he couldn't seem to get rid of, from all of the students who just couldn't seem to keep their mouths shut. Did they even know if the new student wanted all of this information to be spread?

He knew that the new student was a male, and that he'd be starting in class F, but he still didn't know his name, nor his quirk, neither seemed anyone else in the school, as he still hadn't heard that specific information from any of the other students. Maybe it just hadn't been published yet?

"What do you think the new student is like?" Midoriya suddenly sparked a conversation between the three boys, though it was only Iida who answered-

"I don't know, I just hope he's not too much of a rebel" Iida said, doing his hand gestures as he continued- "I don't want anymore students like the ones in our class, and even though I care about every last one of them, we all know that it's only chaos on chaos when they're around each other and others" Midoriya just nodded by that- understanding very well what Iida were trying to say.

Those two could keep a conversation going for decades, he on the other hand, found the entire situation weird, so decided not to join in- having something else on his mind. Why was this student even so interesting? He really didn't see the point...

"What do you think Todoroki?" Midoriya suddenly asked him. What does he think? He simply turned his head slightly to the side, before raising and eyebrow, which Midoriya quickly understood the meaning of- "The new student. What do you think about them?"

He didn't really know how to answer that.... He didn't really think about the new student, but more about; why people thought it was such a big deal that they were coming.

"I don't know. I guess I haven't really thought about them much" Was all he said, not knowing how else to answer the question. How else would you answer the question? Besides, it was the truth- he hadn't really thought about them.

"You haven't? I feel like everyone is thinking about them"

He feels the same way... though if it's in a positive manner or not, he really doesn't know...

...

It really couldn't get any worse than this, could it?

Some of the boys from his class, had apparently gotten permission to bring the new student into their classroom, and just by the looks of his dark blue hair, Todoroki were more than sure of who the person was- without having the need to hear his name or anything.
