It was just a high five.... what was wrong with him?

His knew that his classmates would never hurt him... so why? Why was he always so scared?

It was a late saturday afternoon, when the entirety of class A had gathered in the common area. He had been sitting with his friend-group as usual, when Sero had suddenly turned up to ask about his grade on their latest assignment. He of course told him the truth- that he had gotten a good grade and had managed to surpass all of his classmates.

Sero only wanted to congratulate him...

The raven haired boy had raised his hand to give him a high five, when Shoto completely froze and accidentally used his ice quirk all around him.

He swears that he saw Endeavor... he was right there, so intimidating... How had nobody else seen him?

Shoto ran from the common area after that, which led him to where he was now- sitting on the floor of his dorm room, while desperately trying to keep his breathing under control. Endeavor couldn't follow him in here... Aizawa wouldn't let him... the others wouldn't let him...

He thought of freezing his door shut, but reminded himself that Aizawa had specifically told him not to in a situation like this.  Instead he should... His gaze glanced towards his phone, which had been messily cast aside as he was afraid of his father calling him. He should call Aizawa... at least that's what the teacher told him to do...

A trembling hand reached slightly forwards in an attempt to grab the phone, when a feeling of dread crept down his spine. He shouldn't be bothering his teacher... especially not in the weekends...

The hand retracted again, as Shoto could only pull his knees to his chest in a desperate attempt to cover himself in any case an attack would be coming his way...

"What were you thinking? I told you guys to keep quiet and make slow movements in his presence" Aizawa lectured as he looked at his frozen student and the four others, whose feet were frozen to the ground.

Bakugou was warming his palms before placing them on the iceberg surrounding Sero's body- trying to retrieve him before his body temperature dropped much further.

"I'm sorry Sensei, but I don't understand why. There's never been anything when we've battled Todoroki? He's never even flinched.." Iida then said, from besides the other three students frozen to the ground. "I mean, I've never seen him act quite like this"

He knew that his students should know, but he also didn't want to spread any empty rumors. "I just have a feeling that Todoroki might have some ptsd, which is triggered easily in calm envioments. He doesn't usually react in training because he knows what will happen, but in here, he isn't prepared for sudden movements" When Bakugou finally managed to get Sero's entire torso free, the other quivered his teeth, before looking at Aizawa.

"I were just going to give him a high five, he didn't even warn us or anything before freezing the place"

Aizawa had seen a case like that before... a long time ago...
