Summary:
When you're tipping from one side to the another, just on the edge of breaking and keeping your sanity, it doesn't take much to give you that last push.
When everything seems to become too much, and the constant questions and attention coming from your classmates is all it takes to push you over the edge, who's to stop the unavoidable outcomes? And who will help you back to the safer spot on the roof, rather than the endless fall to the ground?

He felt like he were getting pestered from every direction, no matter where he was or where he was going. He didn't even know how they found out... just that they hadn't been meant to...
"Is it true?"
"Do you still keep in touch?"
"Is she insane?"
"How did she end up there?"
"What's it like having a mother in a mental hospital?"
He hated it, every last piece of attention...
People constantly gathered around him, as he found himself distancing his newfound everyday life, that he quite enjoyed, from his usual stoic and closed off sense of self- in a desperate try to make everyone forget the new gossip of the school... something that should of never been leaked..
His classmates seemed to of gotten some sort of hint, after they realised the same constant pestering from the other classes- giving him just the tiniest breathing space, atleast when they were at school, but the dorms were a different matter.
He knew that they didn't mean any harm and that it was actually quite the opposite, but he just didn't have the mindset to keep putting up with this unwanted attention... and why couldn't they seem to understand, that he didn't want to talk about it?
"But how did she end up there? Your family seems pretty normal to me" Uraraka asked- clearly cautious, by the tone of her voice. Normal, huh? How wrong she was... "Did she like, do something to you? Or someone else? You weren't hurt, right?"
Hurt... He considered asking "In which ways?", but decided against it. He didn't even know if his mind was intact anymore...
"Let's just say, that there was an incident" He tried not to glare, but it was hard with the increasing amount of eyes watching him. Why couldn't they seem to find something more productive to use their time on?
He could feel the breathing from Kaminari, as he leaned over the back of the couch, to get closer to Shoto's head- the book in his hands suddenly abandoned, even if it wasn't his intention. Couldn't they just leave him alone? "But like, what incident? What happened dude?"
They say curiosity killed the cat... he might just wonder whether it's true or not...
A sigh involuntarily left his throat, as the thought of going through those long lost memories, made a new sense of hurt rise from within him. He didn't want to remember... he didn't want anyone else to know...
Midoriya knew a fragment about the incident, but nothing that could tell the truth about what had been shared around the school. He promised that he hadn't leaked anything, and he chose to believe it... after all, what would Midoriya gain from telling people about Shoto's backstory?
"I really don't-"
"Yeah, I wondered that too! What happened?"
Mina cut him off from besides Kaminari, as she too leaned into his space. He really couldn't take people invading his personal bubble... something he learned this class did quite often... "Listen, I really don't think-"
