Summary:

Having learned about his deepest secret, the class is now well aware of the danger they're put in every day. So when one thing leads to another and the secret suddenly isn't secluded anymore, who's to stop other people from taking advantage of their classmate?

And how will said classmate cope? Especially, as it was never meant to come out in the first place..

He didn't know what to think anymore...

Ever since the news of Todoroki's third quirk had been shared with his classmates, it was like nothing stayed the same.

"You don't have to worry about us. We'll stay alive so we won't burden you!"

They were always so ready to help, yet he found their words hard to believe.

"No way! You saved me again?!"

They always seemed relieved and awed by the way he helps them dodge death, yet he finds that the so called 'burden' hadn't been lifted since their discovery... it almost became heavier to bear...

About a week had passed since they found out, and Shoto found that he may be able to live with it.... that he may be able to cope...

... but that was before the incident...

...

No one was ever supposed to learn about his quirk, and then no one but class A was supposed to know... yet here he was... the entire school on the verge of finding out about his deepest secret..

Class A had been training on the outside field for a while- running laps and doing two on two fights. Nothing was supposed to go wrong... Shoto had been training with Iida, so that they both could improve their reaction time, and Iida had promised him to be extra careful.

Yet as the sight appeared, Shoto found that his entire body had frozen in place... and that Iida's turbo kick had hit him square in the chest.

"Todoroki! You okay? What happened?" 

The impact had knocked him back a few feet and made him land on his back- letting his eyes meet the clear sky, as he found it was the only thing he could see. "Yeah I'm fine. That kick was pretty strong though" His gaze turned to his classmate, as he saw the previous concern be replaced by relief. 

"Good to hear. What happened though?" A hand was reached towards him, and he found himself grabbing it as he was hoisted to his feet.

Should he tell him? He promised to let them in... "Sorry. I got another sight and it threw me off a bit" His hand awkwardly scratched at his neck, as he caught himself in the action more often than not as of lately. Maybe it was another bad habit...

"A sight? What was it about?"

He knew that it was just curiosity, but he just couldn't wrap his head around it. Why would people ever want to know how and when they die? Wouldn't it freak them out? Wasn't it supposed to... 

His gaze left Iida's face and instead went for the ground, which seemed a lot drier lately than usual. When was the last time it rained?

"Are you worried about me? I promise I won't get hurt"

There was a softness to Iida's voice that he so desperately wanted to believe in, yet the sight was stronger. "I can't ignore them Iida, I could of hurt you- I could of..." His voice trailed off, as the thought crossed his mind.
