Summary:

After UA's planned school trip got a bit out of hand, the teachers decide to make the most of the time that they have left- making sure that their students get some relief before being brought back to UA.

But when you can't let someone you care about go, how can you make sure that they stay with you? This is what happens when class A suddenly gets a new and unexpected member.

"What- Where is it?"

When one of his students got lost in the forest during a bad storm and returned on the back of one of his classmates with a high fever, the last thing that Aizawa had imagined to hear when this said student finally woke up after four hours, was this.

Oh. And did he mention that the said student had brought a bunny with him, from the forest?

"It's in the other room-" The words barely past his lips, before his student were already on his way to swing both of his legs over the edge of the bed. "Oh no you don't. You've been out for more than four hours, and you shouldn't be putting any pressure on that ankle of yours any time soon"

Todoroki still had a high fever- clear to see in his dazed eyes and a very much broken ankle, that he somehow managed to walk upon inside of the forest... these students truly are something else...

He seemed agitated by Aizawa's sentence, yet he still laid back down. "I'll have one of the others bring it in here in some time, but I should tell you this, before you decide to ignore my orders" His student looked at him with curiosity, but he didn't miss the way the youngers eyes twitched towards the door every now and then. "Make that ankle worse and you'll be the only one to live with the consequences. Recovery Girl isn't here so there's no one to heal it, which means you'll have to keep it in a somewhat livable state until we can return to UA"

Why didn't it really surprise him?

His ankle still hurt, but it was a lot dimmer than when he walked around on it in the forest. That must mean that they at least have some sort of painkillers as well... "I understand"

He may say that, but he really wants to know how the bunny is doing... it still seemed hurt when he last saw it just before passing out..

"I'll have one of the others in here later, but only as soon as you've eaten" His teachers sentence made him raise an eyebrow, until he followed the olders gaze towards a plate just besides his bed. How hadn't he realised its presence?

He nodded at his teacher as he reached out to grab the plate- distantly hearing the sound of Aizawa's footsteps as he left the room. It was nice though... he hadn't really eaten anything since the morning... what time was it now?

His gaze looked out the window, but it was just completely black outside, not helping much considering the already blackened sky that was present when he passed out...

...

He must of been exhausted, 'cause the second he had had eaten the food, he went right back to sleep. He still had no idea of what the time was though... just that light was currently shining through the window, much unlike what he had seen before falling asleep..

Aizawa had entered the room not long after he woke up, and was currently on a call with Recovery Girl, just besides his bed. Apparently, Aizawa had no idea of what he should do with Shoto's meant-to-be broken ankle... which obviously didn't freak Shoto out one bit... "Alright. I'll bring him in as soon as we return"
