Winter had now fallen in Toronto and the city became cold and frigid. Not as many people out and about on the streets. It was quiet but it was still so beautiful. The news had reported that a large snow storm was going to be rolling through Toronto. Auston had suggested I come and stay at his place because of the snow. Their game and practice was canceled for tomorrow. Once I got to the apartment I helped Auston with some things around the apartment. One thing about Auston I have learned is that he cannot fold clothes to save his life.

An hour after I got there it began to snow, we sat and watched the snow through his apartment window that overlooked the city. The huge windows and the ambiance of it all was so silent and beautiful. We sat there snuggled up, no words were said and just watched the snow fall together. We both were so comfortable that we drifted off and fell asleep right there.

In the morning I woke up in Auston's bed room and could hear the clicking and clacking of pans as he made breakfast.

"Goodmorning!" I say as I walk out in one of his sweatshirts

"Good Morning beautiful" he replied and kissed me on the forehead

I wrapped my arms around his waist from the back as he finished making pancakes for breakfast

"It didn't snow as much as they said it would" he sailed while shoveling pancakes into his mouth "maybe want to go for a walk in the park?"

I hated the idea of leaving the warm apartment for the frigid Troronto air but I know it is so beautiful out and I would be missing out if I didn't

"You better bundle up Mr. Arizona" I smile at him

The two of us bundled up in warm coats and more layers than imaginable. We strolled through the park hand and hand our footsteps leaving a trail in the freshly fallen snow. He came to the spot that we both remember bumping into one another. Auston turned to face

"Hey this is where you nearly knocked me over" Auston laughs

"If I remember correctly you weren't watching where you were going and nearly killed me" i push him softly

"Well either way you want to look at it I am so happy that we bumped into each other"

My heart fluttered with his words, as the snowflacked began to gently gall around us. I looked at him, my eyes filled with anticipation, wondering what he was going to say

With a tender voice, began to speak, "Brooklyn, you have brought so much joy and happiness into my life. I was wondering if you want to be my girlfriend"

Emotion washed over me as I nodded, a radiant smile spread across my face "Yes Auston. I would love to be your girlfriend"

Under the falling snow, we shared a tender embrace, our breathing mingling in the wintry air. The moment felt ethereal, as if we were the only two souls in the world, surrounded by the beauty and tranquility of a snow- kissed park.

Once we got home Auston made some hot chocolate and we embraced each other the rest of the day. There was a thought in the back of my head of how the hell am I going to tell Tyler he's going to kill me

Reader Notes:

I feel like this is starting off slow. I plan on bringing in more characters and making this much more exciting. I just feel like I needed to get everything established before adding more characters and to create the drama that is in store. Hopefully you like it so far because it's going to get crazy
