Bucky and I finally get out to patrol. I can't swing because I have to stick by bucky. I still get to my old neighborhood.

Like usual, I help the woman down the road from my old house carry her groceries inside. Bucky helped too, he carried the large bag of dog food.

I got to see alot of the people that I usually see, but alot of them were at diffrent parts of thier routine.

We help an old woman walk her dogs, help a single dad carry groceries inside, and just help as many people as we can.

"so this is what you do? You just help? I swear you usually do more than this." Bucky says.

"I do, but its the middle of the day, this is the most help people need right now." I say.

"no crimes before 10:30, got it" bucky jokes. We walk around and just wait, helping whoever walks by.

Buckys jokes ends up being scarily accurate. We end up having an easy day for a few hours, until we hear what sounds like another mugging.

I round the corner first. Immediately I'm knocked down as the mugger tries to shoot me. Luckily the suit I got from mr.stark is bullet proof, but it still knocks the wind out of me.

"Peter!" Bucky yells, stopping just before the corner. I hesitantly stand back up.

"come on lady, just let go!" The mugger yells. The woman holds on to her purse.  I drag myself behind the alley and catch my breath, standing up slowly.

Bucky turns the corner and tries to grab the guy, but ends up almost getting shot. This shot makes the woman let go of her bag, and she immediately just runs.

The man starts running, and I run to follow him. He turns around a fkres a fee more time, one of them hits me again.

I get knocked down, but this feels different. It's in the same spot, but its warm-- no, cold and wet. It's cold but it burns right through me.

I see bucky running towards me. I hear a small alarm go off in my suit.

Warning. Blood loss detected.
Warning. Armor failure.
Warning. Blood loss detected.

I try to stand but a sharp pain shoots through my side. I put my fingers where the pain is, and look down at them. I see blood covering my hand.

The pain makes me dizzy.

I try to stand. It does work, I end up leaned against a wall, still sitting down.

Everything feels so cold. But the pain, the pain feels warm, almost comforting if you can see past all of the blood.

I try to focus on the cold, on reality. Everything feels heavy. Part of me says focus on the warmth, on the pool of it on the left side of my stomach.

I struggle and fail to hold back tears and quiet sobs from the pain. My breathing is shakey and difficult.

"hey, hey, stay with me." Bucky says, kneeling next to me. He puts his hand on my shoulder. His hand is warm. Everything around me is so warm but I still feel cold and dizzy.

"все такое теплое, (everything is so warm.)" I say. I'm aware that I'm not speaking English, but at this point I'm so dizzy I don't think I could if I tried.

"hey, hey, its okay, you're okay, I'm right here. Я здесь с тобой (I am right here with you)" bucky says, shaking my shoulder.

"Мне холодно, (I'm cold.)" I say, struggling to catch my breath.

Bucky says something, I can't understand it. My brain won't put in the effort to translate it.

everything feels heavy. I have no energy left. "Я устал. (I'm tired.)" Dispite how cold I feel, I stop shivering.
