As Cole led me to the carport I couldn't fathom the excitement bubbling up inside of me. I am finally going to be able to see who Cole is. All I really know about him is that he has a brother, doesn't play sports, and a recent discovery that he is on scholarship at Roy. I know its probably crazy that I am fighting with my family over a guy I just met, but it doesn't really matter about the few things I know about him what matters is the personality and how he makes me feel.

When we reach the carport I tug Cole "Hey should I change?" I ask looking down at my uniform.

Cole stops and thinks for a minute and then nods his head, "I'll wait in my car."

I expected us to be taking my car, but am wrong I guess. I look at Cole, "Okay, I'll be back in a minute" I tell him.

Cole goes towards his parked car, "Don't take too long, I have a lot to show you." Cole says opening his door.

I turn around and walk back towards my house. I decide to go through the back door hoping to bypass my parents. I still cannot believe my father. How he acted was horrible. I continue walking until I get to the glass door. I peek through the glass looking for anyone. Once I decide it's clear, I slowly pull the door open and slide inside.

When I get inside I hear nothing. No one is talking. I can't hear Ryan's video games. It's like the house is empty. I tip toe through the back hallway. When I get to the side stairs I look both ways before going on. I feel like I am a ninja, if only I had ninja moves. Because right after I think this, boom! I trip down the stairs. "Shoot, shoot, shoot" I breathe.

I slowly stand up and regain my balance. Please god allow me to make it up these stairs without anyone coming to me. When I get to the top of the stairs, I dart to my room, and go straight to my closet.

I grab a Guns N' Roses shirt and a plaid button up, with my favorite jeans. I change out of this horrid uniform and put on my jeans first. I swear I could hear angels sing. There's nothing like a good pair of worn out jeans. I quickly put on my shirt, and tie the plaid button up around my waist. I'll put it on when it gets cold. Who knows when I will get home?

I slip on my converse and head down the hallway. It's like the house has been evacuated. When I get to the bottom of the stairs I feel like I am home free until I hear little footsteps.

"Hey sissy. Why you going?" Squirt whispers.

I come and kneel in front of him, "Cole wants to show me something okay? I'll be back in a little bit."

A frown takes over his face, "Do you no like Daddy?"

When he says that I feel like a knife stabbed me in the heart, "I like him, we just fight sometimes. But that's okay because we fight sometimes and I love you." I rub his hair, and he giggles. The smile returns.

"I love you sissy. Tell monster if he hurt you I hurt him."

I hug him, "will do squirt, will do."

With that I leave and go to Cole's car. I open the door and slide into the leather seat, and put my seatbelt on. Cole looks at me with a smirk on his face, "I'm surprised you didn't ask me to let you drive her." he says with a chuckle.

"Well if you're offering....." I say unbuckling the seatbelt.

"Woe woe woe. I didn't say I would let you. I'm just now getting over you driving earlier. Patience little grasshopper."

I giggle and lean up to kiss him on the cheek, "You know you loved it. Seeing a girl drive just as good as you." I whisper his ear causing his breath to hitch.
