Kunikuzushi???

3rd POV

Y/n was walking through the forest.She was going to find the nearest boat to Liyue, and from there she could easily travel to Mondstadt because, well, she was a kitsune.And seriously, they are fast.

She had transformed back into her human form and was casually fighting an electro-infused Lawachurl since she was super bored.Like, the nearest ride to Liyue was around 2 hours away so why not have fun while she could?

The entire time she was traveling the forest, she had just walked and walked until her legs were seriously cramped so she really wanted to get a small, quick exercise.

Since the Lawachurl was electro-infused and she had electro magic(not a vision!!!I'm still deciding but lets say she has magic kinda like how the archons don't need visions)she ended up having to fight it without the help of her magic.Not that it was bad or something, she was good with any weapon she picked up but preferably a catalyst.but since catalysts were out of the question as her magic was electro, she went with her second best weapon which was a sword(underrated asf).

Currently, she was just toying around with it for fun.Dissapearing, reappearing and then cutting it, dodging long enough for it to heal, and then doing it all over again. It was fun, and y/n was starting to ease up a little.Unfortunately, she lost concentration...

And the Lawachurl managed to land a hit on the bag she was carrying.Mind that it was full of sakura shrimp crackers, tricolor dango, and a huge variety of pastries and sweets.

You know how pissed she was.

Y/n gave the Lawachurl a glare as it destroyed her bag, spilling half of her sweets. A lot of her crackers fell into the disgusting muddy ground 😢 along with a chocolate-flavored dango. Almost half of her stuff had been emptied out too, including but to limited to:

A red glow could literally be seen as y/n's hair started floating around her as time stopped.A her expression immediately changed from smug and chill to one of pure rage.

She stared at the spilled contents of her bag in disbelief, then at the Lawachurl, back to her bag, and then back to the Lawachurl again.

Okay, that was it.It was already annoying enough, but destroying some of her delicious sweets?That Lawachurl had a death wish.

Y/n chuckled darkly as lightning began to flicker around her.Time to stop messing around.

She quickly leaped over the Lawachurl and swung her sword across its head, earning a *slay Lawachurl death noise ✨ * before it disappeared into mere ashes.

"That was easy.not as efficient as using magic but meh."y/n said to herself bluntly as she picked up the loot.

2 hours later(time to meet our short purple hair child)

y/n was somewhere in the middle of the forest.And guess what?she was lost.I forgot to mention her sense of direction is worse than bennet's luck.She was sure she had seen that rock before, and that tree.Look, there was even the same pink snail stuck under a fallen branch.

She was about to jump onto a tree when she heard a child crying quietly nearby.Ears immediately perking up, she did a 360 and cut through a bush in front of her, revealing a child sitting on the ground sobbing quietly. His back was turned to her and appeared not to have sensed her presence.

(Well obviously, she was a master at stealth.)

Y/n's eyes immediately widened as soon as she saw his features.The indigo hair was recognizable despite the weird bowl cut hairstyle and the oversized hat thing.

the electro symbol on the back of his neck.It immediately hit her.She then gasped a little as the small figure turned around and her heart immediately dropped.

"Kunikuzushi?"

Flashback time ✨ 

"Ei, what is this?why is there a boy crying on the ground in the middle of your floating dimension or whatever?"

"..."

"Can i keep him?"

Timeskip

"Oh shoot run she's here!"Y/n whispered quietly as she and kunikuzushi hid in a bush after stealing Ei's hairpin.Next to her he tried to hide his laughs which ended up as quiet, awkward noises.

Their hearts and faces both dropped when they sensed a dark aura behind them as lightning immediately strikes the bush and they were met by a furious electro archon.

Timeskip

"What do you mean he has to go...?"

"I'm sorry y/n but it's either we leave him somewhere or kill him.He's a failed creation and i want to make a replacement.Miko suggested we kill him, but i don't want to do that.I also want to keep him but it's impossible."

Y/n looked at Ei in disbelief as she opened a portal to a nearby forest and dragged the poor boy through it sadly.

Kunikuzushi immediately got up and tackled her.

"Y/n!!!"

"Calm down..."

She later learned that he'd had 2 friends but they both quote-on-quote "betrayed him" and he was really upset.He had quickly calmed down but as soon as he found out she was leaving Inazuma, that calmness was quickly gone.

"No, you can't just leave me now!"

"Listen.I'm sorry, but i can't.I just...need to get away from this place.okay?"

"YOU'RE DELUSIONAL!YOU ARE JUST LIKE ALL OF THEM!YOU BETRAYED ME TOO!"he cried and ran off into the forest as y/n watched him sadly.She would have stayed with him but she couldn't stand being here in the moment.

So, she just left him a "sorry" note along with a good-luck charm(the thing that raiden gave Scaramouche in the actual lore).

"I'm sorry but i have no choice..."

With that, she quickly transformed back into her kitsune form and made her way to the nearest beach.
