3rd POV

Traveling through Liyue was a nightmare.The place seemed to have a ruin machine overload, and y/n was usually too scared to get close to one of those ruin hunter things even though she was far stronger than them,must be the scary noises...

That morning she had said goodbye to xiao and continued her journey to Mondstadt.

"Maybe i should just turn into my fox form and just run instead..?No, that's dangerous!you could easily get crushed by one of those pesky ruin machines!"(y/n forgetting her own capabilities because of scary robots be like-)

"Get yourself together!"she angrily hissed at herself before sighing and continuing on the long walk.

She ended up coming across a camp and decided to help clear it out since the least she could do for Morax-*cough cough-Zhongli was keep his people safe apparently.

Y/n quickly leaped into the air gracefully and landed a barrage of attacks onto the hilichurl camp, then proceeded to strike down 2 mitachurls quickly.

She was just about to unequip her sword when a Lawachurl appeared behind her, roaring furiously.

It struck immediately just as y/n dodged and sent her sword flying at its head.

KABOOM!

The Lawachurl turned to dust as she sighed in annoyance.

"This place sucks."

FINALLY, she managed to reach the gates of Mondstadt.She went straight through and the strong aroma of steak and fisherman's toast wafted through the clear, fresh air.

Surrounding her, an array of shops and people dressed in funny clothes roamed the streets while talking to each other. "Ad astra abbyssosque(abysossque?abbysossque????)!"y/n slightly turned to look at...katheryne..?weird-

"So, this is Mondstadt now.Heh, i haven't been here for a pretty long time.Looks like Barbatos finally got rid of that troublesome Lawrence clan..?"Her eyes darted suspiciously around the crowd.No sign of corruption anymore, that was good news.

She had just leaped into the place with a fountain when she spotted a familiar boy with cyan highlights in his hair rushing towards her in a panic.

Before y/n could say anything, she was quickly pulled into an alleyway. Her eyes quickly adjusted in the darkness, fixating on the anemo archon in front of her.

"ARE YOU CRAZY, Y/N?!?!"

Y/n's eyes widened as she realised she just jumped up 20 meters with her kitsune powers.in public.

Ah, shit.

Venti POV

I was enjoying my day until a h/c-haired kitsune jumped 20 feet into the air with electro magic surrounding her in public, promptly landing in front of the anemo statue. I forgot how stupid and forgetful y/n was.

Before anyone could notice her, i immediately grabbed her and pulled her into an alleyway out of sight.

"ARE YOU CRAZY Y/N?!?!"

She appeared to have just realised what she did.

Remind me why i decided to let her stay at Mondstadt again?

3rd POV

Later

Y/n and Venti were hanging out at a nearby Tavern, where she was explaining what happened between her and Ei.

Venti was horrified by this, but also wasn't too surprised that Ei had done that.He never even liked the stern and serious electro archon, anyways... Anyhow, he felt bad for y/n as he knew about her feelings for Ei.

But it was in the past, so y/n could start a new life here and be happier than she ever was back at the nation of eternity, and Venti was determined to make her forget.

Decades passed, and y/n grew accustomed to life in Mondstadt.She swapped out her traditional Kimonos for more practical gear and decided to only stick with one weapon. She would still sometimes make inazuma food, but she quickly fell in love with Mondstadt food because it tastes so good.

(Seriously, every time i cook in genshin the food items look so good for some reason)

She and Venti got along great, and y/n even made friends with some of the other creatures there such as Dvalin and also Andrius/boreas(there i used both the names so dont attack me)

Decades turned into centuries and y/n slowly stopped worrying about her old home, and almost completely let go of her lost love in her old home, Inazuma.
