The sky in the plane of euthymia(?) was a melancholy red as y/n appeared. The kitsune stood there, her ears perked slightly as she surveyed  her surroundings. Then, that dreaded, stern voice sounded from behind her.

"I didn't expect to see you again, y/n."

Y/n sighed as she turned to face Ei. Finding her voice, she began speaking."look, i don't want to drag this out longer than necessary but i-"she was cut off by the electro archon raising a hand for silence. Y/n gave ei a narrow, annoyed look but remained silent as she listened tolerantly.

"I don't need to hear anything more from you y/n. You chose to go to Mondstadt by yourself so i don't want another argument. If you're here to get mad at me again then leave."

"I-what? That's not even what i was going to-"

y/n blinked as she was back in the tenshukaku. That bitch-

"I know you can hear me, Ei!!"y/n hissed in annoyance. She'd tried to sort things out so they could at least not hate each other, but she ended up getting kicked out. Seriously? Y/n paced around the room for a while before she noticed another presence behind her. Ohh yeah the shogun.

"Did she kick you out or something?"

"I thought that was obvious!!! Teleport me back to that goddamn plane of whateverthatfuckingplaceiscalled!!!" Y/n said as she practically span around to face the shogun, who just shrugged with a mix of sympathy and slight exasperation.

"Sorry, i can't"

Of course she couldn't. "Why did i even bother to try talking to her if she isn't going to fucking LISTEN?!" Y/n kicked a random piece of wood that was on the ground, sending it flying into the wall with a crash. She'd just embarrassed herself even further, and hadn't;t accomplished anything.

At this point, y/n was done. She'd tried apologizing so they could at least be on good terms, but that didn't work. Y/n was starting to wonder if returning to inazuma was a good idea. She'd put in so much time, effort, even left her amazing life at Mondstadt with Venti behind. What had she even gained from this apart from a cryo vision(technically from Liyue), injuries, and an even more damaged mental state? She really had hoped things would get better, but they hadn't. Surely there could be no harm returning to Mondstadt, right? Y/n had done everything she could. It had achieved absolutely fucking nothing, so she had done enough.

Plus, wasn't it Ei's fault this was happening anyways? She'd been the one to turn distant and destroy inazuma from the inside. Instead of ei trying to fix things, y/n had to clean up her messes instead. It shouldn't have been y/n's responsibility to apologize and make things right.

"Y/n? Where are you going?" The shogun tilted her head as y/n opened the door and walked out of the building. This time, she didn't get a reply.

Y/n POV

I swiftly landed on the platform at the Narukami shrine. It felt like i was walking in a memory, my feet tracing the very same steps i had taken 500 years ago. The branches above me swayed in the wind without making a sound as i approached the tree where Miko was standing with her back turned. It wasn't until i was a few feet away that she turned around."y/n? What happened? You look....uh....upset."

Upset was an understatement.

"I think I'm going to leave now, miko. I fulfilled my end of the deal with lumine by accompanying her to inazuma, she didn't find her goddamn brother, too bad. If he wanted to fucking go home with her or something he would've appeared and said he wanted to instead of avoiding us. So I'm done. I have no reason to be here."

Miko looked faintly dismayed but nodded her head slightly."are you going to return to Mondstadt..?" I considered this for a while."I'm not too sure, but probably. I do miss my friends there but I'll need some time to decide." Miko's ears drooped slightly as i said that. "You know, y/n, closing off from your problems again isn't going to solve anything. Try again-"

"I'VE TRIED! OKAY?! I really have. But it shouldn't be my fault that everything is ruined. If ei wanted to fix things she would have tried and not just kicked me out." I felt guilty as soon as i saw miko flinch slightly but i just couldn't think properly right now. Without my own prompting, i turned around and my feet started to move. I felt defeated as i continued to walk away from my sister. Right now i just needed to find anywhere i could hide, as i felt uncomfortably aware of my surroundings.

They're the same as before.

Everything has remained like this.

Nothing changed.

Flashes of old memories came flooding back to me. If that nostalgic feeling when i walked toward the shrine was as strong as a rockfall, this was an avalanche. The hushed, confused chitchat of the shrine maidens behind me. The sakura leaves rustling as i passed the Torii gate. I couldn't help the tears forming at the corners of my eyes as i walked the exact same steps as before.i tried to ignore everything, as i continued walking away from all my sorrows and problems, leaving inazuma behind once again.

History really does repeat itself.

Hi my amazing readers :D

I just remembered this book existed when i read my emails and found a comment lol sorry. BUT i am here with another chapter of course!

Cause today i was supposed to go to fencing but i was gaming this morning and then my nose started bleeding. Like, A LOT. I basically killed the entire amazon jungle with the amount of tissue i was using. And it didn't stop for like an hour hahahahahahahahhahahah
So basically when it finally stopped i got a headache(probably because of blood loss or something).

So yay i got to skip fencing thats why i decided to spend my time writing another chapter :)

School starts tomorrow sooooo- i might post another this weekend.

Dw i am not going to write 50 more chapters of y/n being in Mondstadt then going back to inazuma again that would be boring,

I actually have very different plans, but not going to spoil that yet ;)
