Diana always wanted to follow her father's footsteps and become an engineer. Unlike her twin brother, she always had a penchant for the exact sciences.
She was born on Earth and never wanted to leave home actually, wanted to do something good for both people and animals there, where she lived. In her spare time Diana sometimes helped in animal shelters. It was her dad's idea actually to join the expedition to another galaxy... and she didn't want to stay alone.
Diana always was... a bit infantile, and her father's death for her was a terrible loss. Especially knowing that he sacrificed himself to save her. Diana blames herself for this no matter what others say. At least there's still hope for her mother.
There could be something between Diana and Reyes, but in a way he tricked and used her. Liam however was always on her side.
