Cake and Teardrop roamed through the forest. The two had been together for a while. Cake was frightened, fearing Pillow or Remote was watching. Teardrop's expression never changed, perfectly calm even in this situation.

≪ °❈° ≫
The two took a break, creating a small camp. Teardrop had been carrying supplies. So, she pulled out some food. It wasn't much, just a pack of beef. She took out a pot and hung it over the campfire. She then pulled out some noodles.

I sat there, eating some of the spaghetti Teardrop had cooked. It was kinda difficult without any arms. But I managed to eat. In my back of mind, I was still afraid. Those two could come out at any moment. The things they would do to us..

≪ °❈° ≫

An image of Naily appeared in my mind. The terror that filled her eyes as Remote used her a weapon to rip Bomby apart. The cries I heard from her as I stood there, doing nothing. Bomby's body appeared next in my mind.

≪ °❈° ≫

Large chunks of his body scattered around the ground. Blood splattered all over, You could see the fear in his face. The struggle he had, trying to stop Remote and Naily. All of it became just a waste. He wasn't strong enough to survive...

≪ °❈° ≫

I looked over to Teardrop. She was silent as usual. Only eating some of the spaghetti she had made. She had some tents already set up. So, I got up, said goodnight, and went into a tent. I then laid down and fell asleep.

≪ °❈° ≫

Even in my sleep, the horrors wouldn't go away. All I could hear was their screams. It was agonizing, Naily's voice got higher and higher with every attack. Bomby's beginning to go limp.

≪ °❈° ≫

In the morning, I got up tired. The horrors kept me up all night. I ignored my condition and stepped out of my tent. There was Teardrop, a pig hung over the fire. She waved before taking the pig off of the stick.

≪ °❈° ≫

A few moments later, I was enjoying a nice plate of porkchop. "How was your rest?" I looked up from my plate. Did Teardrop just talk? I just went with the flow instead of worrying. "Horrible, I couldn't stop thinking about what Remote did." I stared into Teardrop's emotionless eyes. "That's.. horrible to hear.." She said before taking a bite of her food. "So, how was your rest?"

≪ °❈° ≫

"I did not rest. It took the entire night to hunt this pig." She took another bite of her food. "Your attachments are killing you." She stared straight into my soul. "I mean.." I couldn't really disagree. This was killing me. "You can't give them up, so you let it slowly take over."

≪ °❈° ≫

"That's what's making you weak." She then stood up and grabbed some firewood. She then tossed it into the campfire. "If you cannot overcome your tragedy. You are incapable of survival." She took the last bite of her food, tossing the plate into her bag.

≪ °❈° ≫

She then pulled out her dagger. "I'm going to check out for something." She then stood up and walked away. I sat there, wondering everything. Teardrop could speak this entire time? Were my attachments really holding me back? What was the point of this? Am I just too weak to survive?

≪ °❈° ≫

"Seems like you're going through an existential crisis." I looked to where the voice came from. A black Scythe laid on the wall. "How..." How did she find us? The campfire wasn't strong enough to make a smoke signal. It wasn't bright either. How could she have found us?

≪ °❈° ≫

Had she been following us this entire time? Then why didn't she kill me when Teardrop left to hunt? So many thoughts were racing through my mind. I got up and quickly ran. I knew she was quick, but maybe I could outrun her!

≪ °❈° ≫

I looked behind me for a millisecond. She had already disappeared. I stopped in my tracks and sighed. Maybe this was just a hallucination. Then I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned around to be blinded in one of my eyes. I fell to the ground, screaming in pain.

≪ °❈° ≫

"That's why you never turn around." I looked up to Remote, she rose her Scythe in the air. "It's time for you to meet Bomby." I closed my eyes and prepared for my death. Then I heard a loud sound, I opened my eyes. There stood Teardrop in front of me. She was blocking Remote's attack with her dagger.

≪ °❈° ≫

I crawled away and watched from a distance. Teardrop was standing a good chance against Remote. The two were almost even. They blocked each other's attacks, catching each other off-guard only for them to get their guard back. It was an amazing sight to see. But I couldn't focus on only that.

≪ °❈° ≫

I was still losing blood, I beginning to feel woozy. Someone immediately began to drag me away. I was screaming my lungs out. "LET ME GO!" The person covered my mouth. I could see Teardrop still fighting Remote, their fight being blurrier every moment.

≪ °❈° ≫

I thought Teardrop would betray me because of my attachments. But I was wrong, she wasn't going to betray me. Even with the attachments she wanted me to get rid of.. I then blacked out.

≪ °❈° ≫

I woke up in a small cabin, I quickly examined the room. In the corner was Teardrop, covered in cuts. Beside her was Saw, who was caring for her. I stared to my right. There was Book who was talking with Donut.
