Y/N felt quite embarrassed the next morning about having shown up so suddenly at Shouta's door. She knew that he had offered and that she was in a bad situation, but it still seemed like she had been pretty hysterical. Was she maybe overreacting? Haruto always said that she was overreacting, that she was too sensitive. But then again, Shouta was telling her that she was fine, that she wasn't a bother, and that he was glad she was here. Y/N wasn't sure who to believe anymore. Maybe she just needed time.

She was quite confused when she woke up. Her entire body was hurting, and it took her a little while to figure out where she was and to remember what had happened. The last night just seemed like some sort of haze to her. Her memories were blurry, and her head was hurting. But everything was slowly coming back to her.

Y/N almost wished that she wouldn't have been able to remember anything. She was so confused when she remembered. Mainly because she had no idea what to do next. She had left the house and was now staying with Shouta. She had no idea what Haruto was going to do. He surely wasn't happy about it. Did he even know where she was? Maybe he could guess it. She hoped he would never find out.

She knew that Shouta wanted to take her to the hospital today and with her headache, she was sure that was a good idea, at least. She needed to get that looked at. And then she could maybe figure out what to do. It was quite obvious that she wasn't going to be able to stay with Shouta forever. He was her workmate, and she was glad that he had helped her out when she needed him, but she didn't want to impose.

The real problem was that she had come just with the things she had on her. She had her phone and the keys to her own house, but that was it. She had no documents with her or anything. Her money was still going into Haruto's bank account, as far as she was aware, and there was no way to change that without having her documents. That meant she'd have to go back there at some point, even though she didn't know when it would be safe again. Or whether it would ever be safe again – with Haruto there was no telling.

For now, she had to stay with Shouta. She didn't know how to repay him yet, but she figured it might be a good idea to cook some breakfast for both of them. If she was living here, she might as well make herself useful. And it seemed like Shouta was someone that tended to sleep in on days off, so she would have plenty of time. She just hoped that he wouldn't get mad at her, if she used things in his kitchen...

As she got up and got to work on a nice breakfast, she started wondering about her future again – where was she going to go? Right now, she had absolutely nothing. Was she really going to leave Haruto? She knew it was going to be difficult and Haruto would make things even more difficult for her.

She didn't get it. He seemed to hate her so much, so why wouldn't he just let her go? Surely, if he hated her as much as he always said, he shouldn't mind if she was leaving, but Y/N knew it wasn't like that. He was furious at even the slightest hint of her leaving him. He was jealous. He would probably rather have killed her, than have her leave him, which was a scary thought. Y/N knew that he might kill her if she went back to the house today – but she needed clothes and she needed her documents.

Maybe Shouta would know what to do. Maybe he would have a good plan for this sort of situation. He seemed to know a lot about what to do, if someone was trapped in a relationship like hers. Maybe it was, because he was a hero, and he might be dealing with cases like hers a lot more than she thought.

Whatever it was, she would ask him for advice. Maybe this was the push she needed to finally be able to leave Haruto. Or maybe he would come around and apologise to her. Maybe he hadn't even realised how badly he had been treating her all those years and now he would see that he had done wrong. Maybe it wasn't as impossible for him to change, as she might have thought. Or as Shouta thought.
