As the days went by, PJ noticed that Dream was becoming more and more clingy to his brother Nightmare. Whenever Nightmare tried to play with the other children or hang out with Omni, Dream would follow him closely and refuse to leave his side.
PJ tried to encourage Dream to play with the other children and participate in activities, but Dream seemed to only want to be near his brother. PJ knew that it wasn't healthy for Dream to be so dependent on his brother and that he needed to find a way to help him become more independent.
One day, Omni suggested that they have a special "Dream and Nightmare" day where they would spend the entire day doing things that they both enjoyed. Nightmare was excited about the idea, but Dream seemed hesitant.
PJ sat down with Dream and explained to him that spending time with his brother was important, but that it was also important for him to make friends with the other children and play with them too. PJ assured Dream that he would be nearby if he needed anything and that he wouldn't be alone.
Dream eventually agreed to the special day, and PJ watched as the two brothers spent the day playing games, drawing, and doing other activities that they enjoyed. PJ also made sure to give Dream some one-on-one attention, playing with him and showing him how to make a craft.
As the day went on, PJ noticed that Dream was becoming more comfortable around the other children. He started to interact with them more, laughing and playing along with their games. Nightmare also encouraged him to join in on some of the activities, and PJ saw the two brothers having fun together.
By the end of the day, Dream was tired but happy. He hugged his brother tightly, thanking him for the fun day. PJ smiled, feeling grateful that he was able to help Dream become more independent and confident. He knew that it was a small step, but it was a step in the right direction.
