I was sitting between Remus and Sirius and across from Lily at the Gryffindor table watching the sorting ceremony when all of a sudden Lily slipped a piece of parchment towards me. I grabbed the page and secretly read it making sure Sirius couldn't see. It read
~Ax you look like you're about to slip. Are you okay? Tell me if I need to walk you out.~
I gave her a thumbs up letting her know that I'm okay. Then I tuned into the conversation Remus and Sirius were having. I knew what was going on with everyone. James was hitting on Lily while she rejected him, Remus and Sirius were talking about random things and Peter was awkwardly sitting next to James. I would usually join Remus and Sirius's conversation but they were being unusually secretive. Every time they saw me trying to pay attention they would go quiet and start eating again. I had figured out Remus's secret in first year. No one but Lily knows my secrets. I get her attention and point to the entrance to the dining hall. She nods and walks around the table grabbing my hand. Once we get to Gryffindor tower I rush to my shared dorm and grab my stuffed wolf plushie. Lily came into the dorm room and sat on my bed with me. I layed down clinging to the stuffie as she rubbed my hair and sang to me.
