Chapter 4

I came back home before sunrise.

We had to leave for our kingdom early in the morning today. It's a good thing my bag was already packed.

The second moonchild of the human world was not found yet which is a good thing for me.

I freshen up and did my best to look like i haven't been crying. After pretending to be a overly excited upcoming bday girl like Xen, we finally got into our ride, a jet plane to go to our Kingdom. Of course Mira is coming with us.

After 3 hours of tiring flight with my excited siblings and pretending to be excited as well, we finally landed.

As i was coming down from the jet, i felt my body getting lift up and spinned around as i hear a mothery laugh.

"Oh my sweet sweet baby girl. Look at you! So beautiful, so grown! Oh god i missed you so much, honeycheeks" Mom cried out as she kissed all Over my face. I laugh with a few tears escaping my eyes as i hug her tightly. "I missed you so much too mom." i whisper burying my face on her neck as i take in the fimilier scent.

We hug eachother for a while before slowly letting go. I kiss her cheeks twice before i took our surroundings.

My father and siblings were staring at us with smiles and a few happy tears. I let out a laugh as i launch myself at my dad. I hug him tightly as i feel him hugging me like his life dependened on it as he whispers his love and his proudness towards me.

After our whole happy reunion with them hugging each three of us with love and tenderness, we get into our limo and leave for palace.

The whole Kingdom was in a huge celebration at our arrival. There were welcomes and festivals.

Their Prince and Princesses were soon to be adult and will find their mates too. Everyone was thrilled with the thought of it. Plus since this year was the time to find the moonchildren after a thousand year, this year became a year of celebration automatically.

I stare at my huge chember, the pastel blue walls, the huge king sized bed and the huge space with other furnitures.

I missed this.

Thoughout the whole day we spent time outside with the people of our Kingdom and with our parents inside their chember chatting about how our lives have been and what we were up to.

I told them about everything except Leona.

Leona.

I almost forgot about her through this busy day. Thinking about her is giving me a fluttering heart with a new feeling, painful squeezes.

My eyes fill with tears as i remember yesterday's events with her.

Her touch of tease and hesitation and my fluttering heart, her touch of closeness and warmth and my fluttering heart, her seeming to keep her walls up but showing me some of her hidden treasure and my fluttering heart, her anger and hatred in her so beautiful, so stormy eyes while i crossed a boundary without knowing and my shattering heart.

I sigh closing my eyes letting my tears fall.

"Happy birthday!!" A few voices shouts making me jump out of my skin and of course, fall off my bed.

How high did i jumped to fall off a king sized bed?
